In theory if you had a keyed right spindle made you could order a second brake kit and switch it over correct? I got an intermediate class kart the other day I have no intentions of racing on an oval track so I want both brakes. I'm also going to fabricate my own wing up top with equal side panels.
Okay so this video is pissing me off because it's confusing the shit out of me... But why is it that you only install brakes on the left side and not the right? Even on your website it's the same thing you only sell the left side system and not the right. Generally I grew up with any kind of vehicle having brakes on both sides. I just got a shifter kart and it only has rear brakes but I want to put front brakes also but you guys only sell it for one side I don't understand. Any information would be helpful thank you Edit: normally I race drag cars Fast and the Furious Dom Toretto street racing type shit but I am literally brand new to karting so my apologies I don't know much but I definitely want to put brakes on both sides on the front😂
I know this is 6 months late but on an outlaw kart that races on dirt they run rear brakes and only a brake on the LF. No one in this type of racing used a RF brake
Great video; reminds us of when we got our start doing karts 25 years ago. Currently developing a 2 seat kitplane that, after doing the numbers, will use a kart braking system to get to a stop after landing. It is neat knowing that it came full circle!
6:02 short key could fall out if set screw gets loose, that's not safe. Also seems to be missing a lot of pinned / wired fasteners... everything on the tie rods and spindles should be safety wired.
For QRC you'd think they'd want to help you the best line is the holes in the axle mount that's what we get the most calls about and they don't say shit about it but 5 holes back they put the holes there to fuck with you I guess ? Great help is it righty tighty ? That's all I got out of it
How about not how to build a wing because most anyone would go to a guy how about how to fucking us a wing ? Or once someone finds out your not that good you'll be beat ,?
Who cares how to build it ? a 5 year old could bolt it together why not try to make a video how to set one up or is it because you don't want anyone to beat you ? I don't get it seems like a bump and run kinda racing anyways
So if the most asked question is where to bolt in the bearings you didn't ever explain why the holes or the other adjustment so what's the point of the video anyone 10 year's and older could put an axle in ?
Would I be able to attach left break to right side ???? Serious question because I want a right break to. Or would I need to change some things up to make the left fit on the right ?
Hi guys Great vids Used to race Formula 500/Microsprints years back Built all my own wings Front cap would take a bearing until I put a length of plastic rainwater down tube (many sizes) and riveted into the leading edge Really made a difference
Hey guys I'm trying to put a kirkey 34 into a sr champ kart for my 6 year old to run a dirt oval. We're running a 2012 trick olimpic redemption chasis. Any tips on mounting the seat into the kart? Thanks.
Not having the guy with the personality bypass there is a plus. On the negative side, having so many episodes make for a tedious watch and the biggest one for me is everything being imperial. Come on guys, we're 21 years into the 21st century!
Kool build series but it would be nice to know what your building. I would expect the 1st video or the beginning of every video explaining what your building. By looking in the background it looks to be a pretty awesome kids sprint car.
Hi guys, these videos have been amazing. Well done to everyone involved. I am from Australia and have just purchased a QRC kart. I was wondering if you could do a video on race setups. It would be super helpful as we are just starting racing in Aus. There are over 35 QRC karts already here. Thanks Troy Jordan
