This is so clever as a story, because Billy doesn't attribute a club to this "hero". He is both sides and in that way, it is a perfect Glasgow story. This is why Billy is revered. He simply is the master story teller.
Ya see this is exactly what Big Brother would of done if Ryan Thomas hit Roxanne "Drama Queen" Pallet, he'd of been out like this! So BB does take it seriously
