Once you have the bike in front of you, you will be able to see how to adjust it. It has an adjustable screw. Loosen it, and adjust height of seatpost.

If I don't have extra brakes riding in the city, I feel unsafe. Dogs, cats, or children will jump right infront of you. I first notice this bike due to seeing Giant Bicycles' CEO riding on one of these. Every bike should come with extra brakes.

After waching the video I agree with you that hand wash will be cleaner then machine wash. The machine in this video looks like some kinda of a cheap ferris wheel that I go to when I was 5. I'm sure if it is some premium machine with the right soaps it is super clean an equivalent to the London Eye ferris wheel.

*I liked the bike so much this is my second bike☞>**share4.photo/giantBike?なb** The first bike was stolen. This bike does require maintenance as parts do loosen up, especially when ridden off road. I ride the C&O canal in Maryland which is a hard pack trail. I always tighten up nuts before and after rides. After all the bike is sort of a cheapie. Nice ride, Gears aren't too bad. I would recommend to someone who rides occasionally and is prepared to do maintenance as needed.*

*a very good bike☞>**share4.photo/giantBike?ひn** No major issues and the bike keeps riding good. No issues with the wheel durability (I've punctured one rim with a fencing nail, wheel held up fine) and no problem with spokes breaking.*

Shook! at Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur. (I actually don't know why the name is SHOOK! with a exclamation mark. WE in Malaysia has a colloquial word "Syiok" It means really really satisfying. Europeans or Americans who do not like durians would never understand what syiok means. There is no food in the western world where the taste is "syiok. Like you are drown mad in the taste as it enters your mouth. Nothing like that in the western world. The spices from Asia probably can provide that and that is why in UK, many loved the spices and curry from India and China. The western cuisine smells and tastes good. Very good. But can never come close to the word SYIOK. But I don't know why the restaurant uses the word SHOOK for it's name. IT's not the same as what the locals call Syiok. Anyway, maybe due to it being able to sell to foreigners, it uses the name SHOOK. There is an exclamation mark. Shook !.

Hi there, I have a Tern bicycle which is great for commutes and groceries. However, I have been wanting a more roadish bike, which can mostly go on pavement and park connectors. I am absolutely torn between a Giant Anyroad 2 and a Merida Cyclocross 300. Can you please advise?
@BlueMarbleToday
@BlueMarbleToday 8 лет назад
A cyclocross bike is built for going fast and for racing. You have to bend your back more to be more aerodynamic. You have said that you need a bike for commuting. It is likely that you will be on the streets with much traffic. A higher sitting up position allows you to see things better from side to side. In this way, I would think that the Giant Anyroad 2 may suit you better and may be safer too. One more point......made for Cyclocross bikes have tyre which have small knobs. When you ride fast on normal roads, there is a whirring sound (wuurrrrrrrrrrrr). The Giant Anyroad have a non-knobby tyre and is quite quiet on the road.

Hi, is this bike allowed to use in triathlon competitions? Thanks
@BlueMarbleToday
@BlueMarbleToday 9 лет назад
Juan Francisco Rodríguez Hello friend, you can use almost any bike for triathlon. There are many non-pro events amateurs like us can take part in. However, a road bike with thin 25 mm tyres would be much faster than this Anyroad bike. In triathlon where time is the important thing, a fast road bike is more suitable. This Anyroad bike is for rougher terrains and leisure rides. If you are interested in speed and triathlon, buy an entry level road bike.

A question was asked by a friend the other day. Between the two, Specialized Diverge Sport A1 better or this Giant Anyroad 1 better? I think most bikes in the same category will be similar and as good as one another. From a consumer/customer point of view , surely value for money comes in as a point worth considering. Diverge - $ 1,250 l Anyroad 1 - $ 1,225 l Shimano Sora l Shimano Tiagra 9- speed l 10- Speed One set of brake levers l Two sets of brake levers l (Relevant brake levers; important) l Climbing gears l Climbing Gears 50T/34T l 48T/34T 11 - 32 T (cassette) l 11 - 34 T (cassette) Based on the gears, the Giant Anyroad 1 has got gears geared for steeper climbing. The Diverge has got gears for higher speed on flat road.

how fast can it go? quite interested in the speed seeing the way the frame is so low at the back, wouldn't you lose speed?

@BlueMarbleToday 9 лет назад
FUKOU HUNTER Oh Hi, this is a hybrid bike and its specialty is to conquer gravel road or laterite roads. On the just mentioned terrains, it will ride faster than racing bikes with 25mm tyres. On tarmac, surely the road racing bikes will definitely be faster. This Anyroad 1 hybrid bike can be modified to take panniers and used as a touring bike. Please watch my next video. It would be the last one on this Giant Anyroad 1.

@BlueMarbleToday

FNAO10 I had, before purchasing this Anyroad bike, wanted to buy a flatbar bike. However, as I was going on a longer hill climb and was descending, I realised that the opportunity to change hand positions on the bar provided by drop bars is better. When we are tired, the drop bars allow us to change positions. Due to this reason, I chose the Anyroad. Flatbar is good for maneuvering on descends but when we are fatigued and when we want to go into a more aerodynamic position to enjoy the wind when on a straight road and slight descend, you will cherish a drop bar. So, I didnt buy an Escape or equivalent.

Jeremywwk Oh, so sorry I missed seeing / reading your query, Jeremy. Nowadays, bikes and cars changes model very fast. I see that the shops have already got the CoMax Anyroad. They are semi-carbon. Lighter in weight. For this Anyroad 1, they have a new colour too....RED, I think. Personally I kind of like the darker colour one. Anyway, in this region, the Anyroad do not have Shimano 105. Only Taiwan has Anyroad 1 with Shimano 105. Find out or visit the Giant dealer in your area. Thanks again. Bye!
