I love to travel and share my experiences with others. I have come to love RU-vid for its value. If you want to know how to do something or what someplace is like, there is RU-vid. I decided to share my own experiences with the World, good or bad, although, you will see that these are mostly good. A little about myself: I live in Illinois and work an office job during the week. Videos uploaded here will be from travels on the weekend or during vacations taken. It is harder to find things to do during the winter months. I try to find inside things to do during the winter or travel to warmer places. I try to be consistent as much as possible with videos, but sometimes life just gets in the way. I thank you for subscribing and watching what I have to share.
Pretty cool! Hwy 79 from Hannibal to Louisiana is a great motorcycle road. Didn't realize the lighthouse was there. Definitely will add that next tripl
thank you for sharing this yellow brick road and yellow brick sidewalk eveni. i have a visit to the land of oz chittenango ny. it will be on my bucket list.
You could have taken as much video of/in the cave as you wanted, they don't enforce videography of the cave for such small-scale 'family' movies like this one.
Enjoyed the tour. I did a Boy Scout hike in Springfield as a kid (a long time ago) but don't recall this museum and tomb. The TV show is funny. We all probably still carry hidden wounds from the civil war. Hard to tell what is real but he seemed like a great man who did much for our country. If I get to Springfield again will try rubbing his nose. Liked and sub. Cheers and hope your Sunday is special.
not sure how or why but your video popped up in my recommended... i think it's because i can't pass up anything 80's these days. great weird vicarious trip. whoever put that exhibit together did well. thanks for posting.
Missouri Botanical Garden's is a great botanical gardens. It has been a really long time since I have been there but I remember a lot of what you showed.
Is this located by the zoo? I know they have that area in St Louis that has a bunch of free attractions like the zoo, but I can't remember if this is located there. Have you been to the Botanical gardens? I really enjoyed them.
I've listened to Loretta Lynn since I was about 12 years old , she's always been my favorite singer and I absolutely like everyone of her songs even though I never had the chance to meet her , I agree with Mooney I like the way she would sing her songs. RIP Sister Loretta ,YOU MAYBE GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!
She sure will be missed. My Daddy was a coal minor too. The only two movies he ever went to were the ten commandments and coal minors daughter. Our condolences and prayers of comfort to her family. Much love from Ohio ❤️🙏❤️
I was there in I think 1982 for a motorcycle rally. Her husband was driving around in a jeep with a keg of beer for wherever he stopped. Good people. I am glad she had a wonderful life.
My father grew up on a farm a few miles from her house. He worked there occasionally for the owner in the 1930s. I've visited Hurricane Mills many times when going back to visit the old family farm. The flood took out the original old single lane wooden floored bridge in 1984 (I think think was the year). It was never rebuilt. A pretty place. Loved her singing.
At the Loretta Lynn kitchen I saw a mother bring her 3 year old son a piece of chicken. He said "Wow, that's a really big chicken nugget". I thought, now there is a woman that does not cook at home. lol
I will miss you Ms.Loretta, and love you. You are my favorite country singer and my hero. The first time I visit your home, I cried. My only wish was I wanted to meet you, But I didn't get the chance. God bless you sweet angel. Rest in peace Ms.Loretta , miss so much. 💐🌹❤️🧸💖
