I had to pull over my car on the freeway when it came on the radio and just cried for a while. I never met him or knew him. But I loved his presence in the world.
The government tried to deport him and they couldn't. John was a threat because he could lead massive amounts of people with just his words. I believe the CIA whispered in Chapman's ears.
So effing dumb. The US leadership should be ashamed of themselves how it treats citizens on medical and mental health issues, especially when we are expected to risk our lives if needed.
For myself it took my breath away. Just couldn't process it. The same with Tommy Petty. Losing all the great's then of course we lost George Harrison.... Music today just doesn't have it.

Sadly,he chased after the wrong god. Eternal separation from the only true God,the God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob. The real truth is he didn’t have anything worked out. Hell is terrifying, and it’s only temporary, the lake of fire is the second death Revelation 20:11~15 Jesus is the only way to God,you must be born again 3:3~8 Unfortunately it is too late as there is on second chance for salvation after the grave.
Judy Garland's rendition of 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' is truly magical. She captures the deep, bittersweet emotion of the song perfectly, bringing both warmth and heartache to every note. It's incredible how a performance from 1944 still resonates so strongly today, reminding us of the timeless power of music to evoke emotions that transcend generations. Truly unforgettable!
Call me a fanboy, but there has been nothing to touch the Beatles, before or since. To recreate that time is impossible it was a creation of technology, population, sociology, and talent. Sadly, that time is past, and I doubt that if it were possible to recreate it that the ruling class would allow it to happen.
