I never wanted to do stuff like this. But when you have a car that you bring to a car show and out of 600 cars, you still have the only one of its kind, there's no finding any parts anywhere. So I had to. And if there were videos like this to watch, I would have done a better job.
Seeing my cousin Jim do this on an a.c. when i was about 12 years old cemented my decision to work in metal, you sir are a master and at 40 i am nowhere near your caliber. However time and pressure make diamonds. Someday i'll be there. Thanks for sharing your talent, i have no idea why you don't have a million subs, maybe it's too hard for the so called craftsmen of RU-vid!!
Wow , looks amazing couldn't tell the difference from factory. I definitely can't do that as well as you can even if i understand how the tools work that must take a lot of time. Almost like an art. Would be nice to give it a try sometime just to get a feel for it. More into the mechanics side then the autobody but i like experiencing a little of both. Thats why i am studying on the english wheel ,planishing machine ,stretcher/shinkers ,..and many other sheet metal forming machines.

how good are these new sheet metal steel in resisting rusting compared to that used in the originals. body rust was horrible in the 1970 and 1980 years in cold areas using salt in winter. now rust proofing services like ziebart are extinct.
