I’ve been helping people sort pictures and complete albums since 1997 as a Creative Memories Advisor and I LOVE it!
As I’ve completed over 200 albums for myself and others, I’ve found I really enjoy teaching new techniques and showing new products as they’re used on beautiful and meaningful pages!
I hope you’ll try some of the things you see here and share them with me! I always enjoy celebrating your success!
All of the products used (unless otherwise noted) are available on my website at www.creativememories.com/user/stilley
Thanks for subscribing and sharing us with your friends! Together, we are HAPPY SCRAPPIN’!
Baby pages are always fun to put together. I like circles but it seems like I can also get my fill of them really fast too. I haven’t been impressed with circle cutter. I guess I’ve used the templates too long. Enjoy your new little person.
I’m not a big fan of circles either but force myself to add them occasionally! The circle maker is really a great tool but takes practice to get it right! The custom cutting system has been around so long and I think it’s hard to change. I’m still working on that TRY MORE IN 2024!
Seems like most of us prefer the more quiet life of smaller towns and not the hustle and bustle of large cities. I’m fortunate to have a home where it feels like I’m in the countryside but I’m a short drive away to the shops I like to go to. Like you, if I’m not on the trip there isn’t a lot of journaling happening. Wasn’t there, so really have no idea as to what was really happening, can only go by what’s in the pictures. This happens when I’m scrapbooking trips my children have taken. Thanks for sharing these pages. 🙂❤
I love the city life to visit and go to the theatre and restaurants! But like you as I get older I much prefer the quiet life. Live the pages! I think I will try printing some pictures with the white borders.
I grew up going to NYC because I have family living there. I don't like the hustle & bustle of the city but I do like going there for Broadway shows and museums. It's only a bus ride away so I can go for the day. I loved the layout just highlighting the different icons of the city.
We have spent lots of time in Pennsylvania between another trip and this one and found it absolutely beautiful! We do hope to go back another time! Thanks ☺️
I just found you. Beautiful album. I just came back from a southwest trip and I will copying some or your layouts 😉 I will go back and look at some of your other videos. looking forward to see more of the travel ones!
Amazon basics was my go to, but it’s been out of stock lately. I’m currently trying several different brands and will give you a heads up on next Wednesday’s video.
These were available last year as an incentive purchase but a new one is available NOW with $100 order. Please consider using my website if you don’t have an advisor. www.creativememories.com/user/stilley
I’m not sure yet, quite honestly! When I decide where it goes in the album I won’t make a matching page necessarily, but I’ll find something that just doesn’t clash. Hope that helps 😊
Nothing better than the arrival of a new grandchild! Congratulations! Being paper poor, I like that one! My husband says I’m going to start my own forest. 😂😂😂.
It’s actually my cousin, but thank you! We’re thrilled!! I know if I didn’t buy another sheet of paper, I could probably scrapbook for another year on what I have 🫣
Sometimes I look at the sketch and when you start cutting things out I think it may not work, but then you always end up pulling it off. Turned out cute.
How do these prints last ?? Someone said that they will fade quickly ? Maybe this is a better option for me.. excited to learn and hear more from you... thanks
The Epson PM400 seems to make great prints and reviews state that they’ll last for generations. I have some I’ve printed and framed so they’re exposed to light and they look still great. I talked it over with Mr. Scrappin’ with Sheri today and he said it might actually be more cost effective for us because I do throw away a lot and I can make smaller sizes to get more on a page which would cut down on the number of pages I do. I’m planning to try it out with my next vacation album.
@@scrappinwithsheri Thanks Sheri.. I appreciate this information.. We have 5 children and lots to print and I hate to print photos and then not use them... Have a great day.
As i was watching I was thinking the water is teal. We loved Niagara Falls!! I shop you had a great time. I have many pre made pages I better do like you did and get a day and used them. The pile is building
I’m really just an eyeballer-and I know that’s no help 🙄 I just practice so much that it comes naturally to me. The new trimmer does have a sort of sight guide on the plastic holding piece that helps make mats more uniform, but it’s a bit wider than I like.
I took a class where we premade our layouts, & I still have some of those pages years later. My photos never seem to fit the mats that I put on them or I don't have room for all of the photos that I have. I always have some photos printed ahead of time so that if I have some time to scrap, I have photos. I just keep them in one of the small photo boxes. Did you get to see the Canadian side of Niagara Falls? I've been told that it is prettier than the US side.
That has occasionally happened to me but I can always find a friend to use them. We did get to the Canadian side of the falls and both were lovely. From the Canadian side there was such a beautiful view of the American side. I enjoyed it all!!!
I haven’t premade scrapbook pages yet, just some borders to keep on hand. However I do like how you made these! I would prefer making pages this way instead of digital. Thanks!
So good how you showed the pre done pages and then adapted to fit actual event. Because of you I do this now. I also do all my journaling on my phone and print everything out on my Epson 400 and scrapbook as we travel (on the road almost a month). Thanks for all your inspiration. We stopped by to meet Nicole and had I known you lived so close, I would have loved to meet you.
The black matting worked well with your journaling box! The mats on your granddaughter’s photos were better as they are instead of using black IMO. I also like the idea of the photos hanging off the page a little instead of worrying about trimming them down to size. Using the wide border sticker as a welding strip was a great idea too. Hope this wasn’t too wordy…😊
Thanks for sharing. I love looking at everyone's albums. I've just finished 3 albums of our New Zealand holiday last year. Enjoyed it and can share with my family now. So much better than showing pictures on my phone. ❤
Fantastic albums Sheri. We live in lower Michigan and so we have been to most of those places and got some of the same pictures. 😁 Our favorite place is the Mackinac Bridge. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
I would enjoy hearing more about the online challenges. Where do you find those to participate? These are wonderful pages! I would love it if I could do 200 pages in a few months!
What a great album!! I do the same thing my vacation albums usually are three to a trip. I watched every one of the pages that were recorded!! I use tickets maps and I buy postcards from every where we go. they are come of the best pictures.
Glad you like them! Secret Boxes come out once a quarter and we have no idea what is in them. We purchase them just hoping we enjoy the SECRET products inside.
Another stunning album, or should I say ‘albums’? 😊 I remember your videos making many of the pages, and there are so many more shown in the flip-thru I’d love to replicate!
Loved seeing the albums! I remember you making some of those pages. I use memorabilia and postcards in my albums as well. We are in the Azores right now .... love RU-vid so I can still keep in touch
