Steam Powered Giraffe is a musical project from San Diego, California. It was formed in 2008 by twin siblings David Michael Bennett and Isabella “Bunny” Bennett. Together, along with a cast and crew filled with theatrical backgrounds, the group takes on the guise of singing antique automatons and the fictional robotics company that made them.

You three got me through some tough times, I wanted you guys to know that. This came out on my birthday and it was great. Just sat down on the porch, drank tea, and put a playlist of all your songs on shuffle.
This is so apropos for me right now, oddly enough. My hubby suffered heart and respiratory failure due to sleep apnea, he's only 54. There was minimal damage to his brain, because I called 911 super quickly. Right now though, he's dealing with memory issues and some other stuff. He's recovering right now in a nursing home environment and getting therapy. He DOES remember Steam Powered Giraffe though, even though he is a metal head at heart who used to play bass for a lot of bands he was in over the years, he does love himself some SPG! I hope one day after he recovers, he hears this song and maybe finds my comment, and knows how much he means to me. <3 Thank you SPG. Just finished Heist II a couple days ago. This wasn't even my favorite track but I still get chills. Game doesn't disappoint in any capacity and the soundtrack was epic enough to surpass my hype. Steamworld is awesome because they do a new genre for every entry but Heist is the best and I'm ready for 3.
Wonderful harmonies and beautiful lyrics... To think, when they started, way back when, doing busking as a trio of robots, they never would have imagined that the characters they created would become so loved, for so long, and so much music would come out of it.🙂
Man The Spine has such precise and uncanny moves. At this point I think you could legitimately convince someone he was the current Disney park animatronic frame. Amazing motion performance.
Today is the day that I began a 1-month sick leave from my job and started therapy. All because of the burn-out I got from doing the workload of three people at my job for the last 7 months (the company failed to hire 2 people to fill the open positions). Whilst still being yelled at for not doing it in the same time frame as 3 people would. This song made me shiver uncontrollably and cry my eyes out just now. It's okay, they're happy tears.
