Rather than making a video complaining you can flip it and show all the work you've put into and it's now for sale to the first buyer. It's all about how you market yourself.
Well you can still make it with 200,000 mi 50000 with a new cars if you know how to take care of them will you have some cars do come very defective from factory but still if you take care of yourself it's going to last a long time
They're letting too many deadbeats get car loans with little to no repercussions for defaulting on them. That repair he described cost thousands, probably nearly more than the car was worth.
What will y’all quote me for a transmission rebuild on a 1999 Nissan Sentra 2 liter engine? Or how much for a replacement? Which one will you think is the better option. Just put so much money into this car I don’t want to get rid of it😢
That's why on larger jobs you require at least 50% down or cost of parts, whichever is greater.. My state for a garage to claim a vehicle as abandoned or lean on it costs more than most are worth. By the time you get through lawyers, ads in papers etc you've not only lost parts and labor but legal fees and other B.S.. Why we used to have a sign and printed on estimates and bills ,you have x amount of days to pick up your vehicle. otherwise it will be considered abandoned and get towed. Then you can pay storage fees to tow company.
I see a huge market for fully restored older cars like 90’s 2000’s. Why would I buy a new Camry for 40k when I can get a new old one for 20k which will be endlessly cheaper, over the much longer life span that it will offer over the new one. It’s just better in every single way. Also let it be known - Toyota hasn’t made any impressive bullet proof ultra reliable engines since the 90’s. Neither has any other company.
First, he didn't drain the oil. He drained the tranny instead. So the motor has 10 to 12 quarts of oil and the tranny is empty. The MM must be Jiffy Lube trained 😢😅😊😂
lol ya that’s exactly why…. Bs Maybe if 70% of mechanics didn’t try to rip their customers off people would come pick up their cars. Or maybe more people would become mechanics if they didn’t feel they had to rip people off
Why would you put a brand new oem transmission in an almost 12 year old car? 5 years old or less i can understand but not on something that old. I would be looking for a used one with low mileage or a remanufactured one, that wouldve been alot cheaper and in this case you wouldnt be out so much money.
Got to do what you got to do I worked on vehicles for people on the side of dealt with similar situations if it's not all that much money I work with them let them pay me payments or sometimes just give them the vehicle and keep a set of keys go take the motherfuker back if they don't pay me I don't like folding Vehicles like that I've had it done to me over not very much money and the shop did a bunch of authorized work and butchered up my exhaust and I told them not to f*** with any of that I took my car back when they were closed
Yeah let's forget that part where some people just can't pay for their car. If they can't you will keep it, right ? Ultimately, using those same spots you are upset about. At the end of the day, that transmission will run you what ? 2500 to 3000 for a car worth anywhere between $5000-10000. We all know if that customer would have returned, they would've paid for the a)transmission b)the work. You literally lose nothing by fixing a car you got for free.
Fix it yourself, had a front right collision on a 7th gen Nissan Sentra. Busted radiator and my lower tie bar had been pushed into the frame. Never had worked on a car before this oil change or anything, and after a weekend on RU-vid I did a 2600$ repair in 1 day with 300$
