Well, since Herbert was writing about Human nature and the dangers of religion and a charismatic leader, it is. But it is also about what is happening in the entire world. Religion and politics need to maintain a wide separation or atrocity happens.
There is nothing wrong with his motives. He gives the people of Arrakis a chance to fight and claim their planet, while stopping the unending explotation with the harvesting of spice. I dont understand everyones bitching about it..
@@Ulquiorra465in short read dune messiah or the second book, the second book essentially says that Paul tried to get shit together but the fremen fanatics said “no my lord we need to crusade” in short Paul didn’t have the guts to become the messiah his son did become the messiah but he sort of enslave humanity to teach them a lesson, the movies portray the first book which is more motivating more of a rebellion, a “chosen one” who was swift and perfect, dune messiah essentially says “lmao he is everything but perfect” dune is just pretentious like that.
The widespread use of coal in homes and industries in nineteenth - century England raised serious problems. In industrial cuties such as Leeds, Bradford and Manchester, hundreds of factory chimneys spwed black smoke into the skies. People joked that most inhabitants of these cities grew up believing that the skies were grey and all vegetation was black shopkeepers, home owners and others complained about the black fog that descended on their towns, causing bad tempers, smoke - related illnesses, and dirty clothes?)❤❤❤❤❤
In the real story Paul actually betrays the Fremen, and he knew that he had to unravel what he had done to free them, and humanity along with them from the chains of religious dogma and controls!.
Debieron contratar a Junkie otra vez. No es igual de grandiosa que Fury Road, aunque de esa forma, al verlo en orden cronológico la historia termina en su mejor película y cierra de forma épica.
seeing the "shes trash, they did a bad job" side of this galadriel makes me laugh. if u dont like this adaptation, build a bridge and get over it. lmao
Excellent editing of an excellent movie. I know why I watch it over and over especially when I’ve had a bad day. I just don’t know. Why I Cry. “You said build a team, Theres your team”
sorry, but I see this is stealing from somebody else’s artistic ideas. Particularly when you add something of your own, that has nothing to do with the person who designed wrote and shot this extraordinary piece of film. I see no authenticity here only somebody trying to take someone else’s work and redo it with something of theirs and it’s offensive to me.
Base on your opinion, this movie was "stealing from somebody else’s artistic ideas" and have "no authenticity", since the director (Denis Villeneuve) did change some details comparing to the original book. Also no disrespect here, but it's these kind of vids that help them getting more viewers, making more money and in doing so, spread Dune name and keep Dune alive. Not your weird opinion.
"[...] it's offensive to me," is such a hilarious and pansy ass response when neither the film or books have anything to do with you 😂 This is the internet, buddy. If you're 'offended' by something as minor as a compilation, an incredibly well made one at that, than you should probably just stay off the internet. Maybe educate yourself on copyright laws while you're at it.
