Perris has a lot of potential but our mayor has no interest in listening to our communities interests. The sad thing is there is more than 100 warehouses in perris alone, 30 more approved. They are built next to schools as it wasn’t bad enough. There are a lot of potholes, trash, broken glass, homeless, and restaurant & retail negligence, these shop owners do not take care of their stores. The city does not fix these problems, and will only do so in two scenarios: 1.) the community begs for the roads to be fixed. 2.) A warehouse was recently approved and the developer wants to widen the road (no proper class 4 bicycle lanes, and causes more long term traffic problems & maintenance costs) Speaking of tenant ship, there’s really nothing beyond Walmart and rite aid, for our youth to gather and hang out at. Do you know how many times I my neighbor told me “let’s go to stater bros?” Most families in perris don’t even shop in perris. We have to go out of town to run our errands/splurge and shop. You have to drive a car to go anywhere, and if you don’t have a drivers liscense, forget it. Looks like you and your friends will be eating In-N-Out again for the 50th time. It shouldn’t have to be like this, and yet it is. Perris, the small town low-income community of color. Yet our land zoned for commercial is being exploited by big industrial warehouse/logistics developers with no remorse for our communities backlash
What I learned from this video is that you should not move to Murrieta unless you have plenty of money as the family-fun activities are very expensive.
The town is great I used to live there in 1991 whole family used to live there I went to high school there yeah you get your wins but you get a lot of sunshine yeah you have rains you don't have to worry about humidity yeah the summers could be hot... Don't got to worry about snow if you live somewhere that's really snowing wintery and you want to get away from that element that's the place where you want to be..

lol if you where a broker, then you would know it's not overpriced and you would understand the basic supply and demand issue. A true broker would know what determines a home price. Thanks for watching.
HI, I am local resident in SJ, I know the city inside out. I moved here from LA 4 yrs ago. Here it's way less crowded and more rural-lish. There has been a lot of new housing tracks going recently. These are planned developments with their own parks and walking paths. Built by DR Horton and lennar. San Jacinto/Hemet are actually closely interwined so any discussion of SJ also has to include hemet. I have views both negative and positive about the region. Pos include less crime overall than LA, less traffic, quiet rural streets for cycling, lots of mini-parks, more big trees here than most other cities in SoCAl, ect. Neg is 4 months of yr it is blazing hot w temps avg 95F and nasty heat waves of 100-110 at times, You have to have AC in summer and it is expensive to run in CA. Another neg is no culture at all and no walkable old town. Florida ave is ragged in sections. I have said enough for now. I could write a small book on Hemet/ SF. There is one outstanding recreation spot and it is Perris lake, If you love watersports.
