Nice. But i went all the way across with my fiberglass boxs. So i could port it. I get real good bass with just 10s. Did u out insulation in ur boxes. That might help with some more bass fora
Mr, Aurora i like to say great job for someone that is the first timer. i know this video is only about 6 years ago, but I do hope that you have updated vids of your vehicle. dont matter what type of vehicle it is and i hope that you have also updated yourself with more knowledge on fiberglassing. hey you did a better job then i did on my first timer glassin. i did to small 6.6 door pods it was alright. But i give you props. Now as i said this is 6 years ago and there have been many other vids out there, i noticed that you have only used fiberglass mat and. to strengthen them next time you could also lay a layer of Fiber glass Chop mat. but as i said for someone that did this for the first time you did a better job than i did. great job.
look brother not bad at all. it would of been great to know if you use the right space for the subs to completely get the best out of them. but hell of a great tutorial, thanks.
How do fiberglass boxes sound on average? They seem to look nice and all but is it worth the sacrifice of sound quality? Just seems like fiberglass isn't dense enough to produce quality bass.
looks fn great for first time. so glad when I seen u painted them not carpet. great job. only thing I can say is wet sand wet sand wet sand and a small layer of bondoglass if needed to get them as slick as the outside of your car. but then again that may of what you wanted so great job again.
clean car dude...ive a master audio tech...ive been building, rolling and competing since 1995 ill take the time to tell you that your install for a first time literally is flawless....damn good job keep practicing...
I appreciate that ! It's been quite a while now and they are exactly the same as the day they went in, so I am happy with how it turned out. Minimalist, but It server the purpose
nice job man! I have a question. how they are sitting over there? you screw them to the body or they just laying down ? I have a project going on with my car I would like to know . thanks for replying!
I know its been a while since I responded but if you see this - yes, they are screwed down. If your read thru my ramblings at the top (the text), I mentioned that I ended up doing a thin underlayment over the floor area and bolted them down. I originally thought some commercial Velcro would hold them in place - I Must have been drinking at the time. They were fine until the weather got cold then a hard left turn about launched one of them off into the rhubarb !. I bolted them down the next day and they have stayed put under all driving conditions since
