Hello there I'm ST my goal with this channel is to provide info on various item in games that is lacking on the web and some other things for the future what that is....shhh its a secret. thanks for your time.ST.
In theory, you dont actually need a narrow corridor to make use of the piercing effect, just because the description said that. You just need to position yourself to line some enemies up. And this is just a guess, but if its anything like the Monster Hunter games, it might be able to hit more than one hit zone on large enemies -- such as shooting through head and body, or a thick limb and the body -- with a single bullet
It may not be the best at anything in particular, but I can't stop using it. Probably my most played weapon across all the games. It is very fast and can do a lot of damage when buffed. The critical sucks, but since it scales with DEX like most of the daggers, while being fairly lightweight, you can easily include both in your build with no drawbacks.
i put a crystal gem on it for my sorcerer build and it scales pretty good with intelligence compared to other weapons. i’m +4 right now and it has A scaling
oh my fucking moon! (god "te-heh") I can't finish this video because the smugness is suffocating! "te-heh" I just feel soooo inferior from being on the other end of that stupid smug little "sinister" giggle, I can't take it! oh mye! - my ego is just taking massive neck-beard affinity damage! aaaaarrrggggghhhhh- AUDIENCE SLAUGHTERED! ..."te-heh" idk how anyone here thinks that sounds sinister fr tho, it sounds really dumb and gay. like not homoerotic gay I mean "gay" as in lame AF- this dude wants to watch the world burn from the safety of his mom's basement if he can't make everyone worship him- his personality is a meme. wtf people... stop encouraging him or he'll never get a job and move out! (lol at my own joke.)
Why did you use the noob build for showcasing these weapons? Ah yes, 35 faith and 35 int on an uninfused strength scaling weapon. Genius. You should have just reallocated to have the minimum stats to wield every weapon instead of this garbage.
So you didn't upgrade the weapon fully, didn't showcase the best infusion, and didn't think to use the unique 2H moveset outside of the moveset demonstration???
Did you not know that the Great Corvian Scythe inflicted self bleed build up before this video? Sort of defeats the point of having an informative review of a weapon if you didn't understand basic its mechanics.
You said power attack when you should have said light attack. After watching these reviews, I'm curious why you never bothered to show charged heavy attacks.
@@STs_Durandal Thanks for the fast reply….. Actually I’m now watching all of your Bloodborne weapons showcase one by one… I really liked the detailed info and your weapons rating method 😀
At +5 the storm ruler has a C scaling in Str and a D scaling in Dex, optimal stats for damage while saving level up points for Vit/Vig/End would probably be 40 Str and 40 Dex, at those stats the storm ruler has 485 AR one handed and 501 AR two handed. If you don't care about keeping a lower SL and wanna get the most damage before diminishing returns (diminishing returns=level put into the stat is considered a waste of a level up) on stat scaling pump Str from 40 to 66, with 66 Str and 40 Dex it has 502 AR one handed and 525 AR two handed. If you don't care about diminishing returns and want to absolutely maximize damage you could get Dex to 60 in addition to 66 Str, the one handed AR is 514 and two handed AR is 536 with these stats. (If you decide to go for 66Str and 60Dex be prepared for a lotta soul farming) I'd recommend either the 40/40 or 66/40 setup for the Storm ruler, trying to go 66/60 while still having decent HP and Stamina leads to the aformentioned soul farming for levels being a necessity. P.S: wood grain ring (a ring that slows equipment degradation, it can be bought from the shrine handmaiden after giving her the easterner's ashes which is found in the area past Pontiff.) is a MUST with this weapon, the Storm ruler has only 10 durability, thankfully there's a +1 and +2 version in later NG+ cycles which further slows durability loss. Sorry for wall of text, hope it was informative and helpful atleast.
Shadow of the Erdtree is out and im using the Backhand Blade and wondering "Man this weapon is PERFECT for a Durandal video" then pulled up your channel and saw this as the most recent video. Perfectly fine for you to take breaks but I miss the content and would love to see a comeback! Your videos are awesome to listen to while adventuring the Lands between :D
the main problem is time vs reward in the past i pulled in anywhere from 150,000 to 300,00 views a month and was growing, then as we know youtube changes things and now i see only 10k to 15k so my drive to make vids that take 15 hours to make while i have a fulltime job was not been good, as for the dlc i'll play it when i can afford it, gotta pay bills first :) and thanks for watching all this time.
So. Wearing 2 dark hands. Level 25 "warrior" class. 1000hp, +3 rings.. (prisoner chain, +3 favor, +3 chloranthy, if you use wolf+3 you get 30 poise with onion chest. Or wear crit ring ur choice.) vordt great hammer+1. Thing is nuts for low level trolling. The weapon Art if you land it will OHK another player. Vordt greathammer just slaps. Do it
Ive been really getting into bows and personally, the only way i think bows should be used is as a first high damage hit on tough enemies. One of the most important thing are hitting headshots. Doing both a headshot and an unnoticed sneak attack can produce amazing damage. Bows are useful when they complement your build, but they will never be able to compete with magic or a main weapon.
The 18 blood tinge was having me questioning this weapon but I don't really care about mid maxing or whatever I don't do pvp and I'm planning on new game plus so I'm eventually going to have to level up a lot of things anyway. I want to use so many different weapons.
I don’t have the time or money to play this game, but GAH damn it looks beautiful. And the weapons alone are tempting me to make the purchase that will screw me in bills🤣
Hard to believe this is a downgrade to its previous version😭 dark souls 2 longsword was actually so broken and too well in all categories. One big reasons I never use straight swords in this series: they’re WAY too broken 🤣 especially this one
@@STs_Durandal No problem, just glad to see you're still around, as the times are kind of tough. If you don't mind me asking, what video editing software would you recommend for a beginner, or what's your favorite to use?
I wonder why they didn't carry this moveset over for dual axes and hammers in Elden Ring. It's quite similar, but it's almost as if they went out of their way to make it much slower and punishing to use for some reason.
