OMG this band.. never höörd before Olympics.. INSANE good players. This drummer just blows my mind. Band is like a unite. Very very solid. And best of all... NO guitar solos!!
14:05 Gojira performing in Toulouse's metro, probably before playing at Le Bikini in February 2009. Then, at 14:59, a regional news host calling the band "Gorilla"...
First time I saw Gojira was opening for In Flames in 2008 in Toronto. Like a month after Flesh came out. I wasn't fully into them but Vacuity was immediately on repeat constantly. When they started playing my gf at the time had to move to the back cause "she was scared". I was just like "right? it's awesome!" I think one of my favorite things is that the lineup has been the same through every album as Gojira.... no egos, minimal drugs/partying (it seems like), Just looks like 4 best friends having a blast.
Why do I keep getting old gojira videos in my recommendations? Everytime it happens I find out about stuff I didn't have clue about. Btw, where are these videos from?
Finally, mix up the last 30-35 years of the best known metal in the world and there’s a new seed finally, THANKYOU GOJIRA THANKYOU! This is Poniboy from Melbourne Australia
Im just here to say Gojira and their lyrics realigned my mental sight of the world and im now truly connected with myself. Before was a lot of termoil and theyve gotten me through the worst as well.
I never experienced what I felt when I first heard Metallica …. Until I heard Gojira. And I’m proud to say I only found them this year. There is so much to hear and enjoy. It makes me want vinyl and shirts and concerts and all those things like I’m a damn teenager again. It’s just a beautiful feeling. If you don’t understand that’s alright. But someone does. Somebody out there gets this feeling.
Found them recently aswell. Only a couple bands have made me deep dive into their whole discography, I wanted to listen to gojira so badly that I changed streaming services to access all gojiras music. Green day, metallica, slipknot, a7x and gojira are the only bands that make me want anything I can get of them
I've been a longtime fan and still get excited when I hear they're coming out with a new album. Saw them live in 07 opening up for lamb of god and machine head. You gotta see them live...
From what I gather, he is the actor that plays in some of their early music videos, for example Love and To Sirius. He might be the band's instrument tech also, not sure tho
I could not finish it in one sitting... Only because I have to go jam the album off the riff they just played at about the 33 minute mark.. soon as I remember which album that is... Love this band!!! Only started listening to them a few months ago...I don't think I've ever listened to anything this much
They are extremely inspiring , to the point they make me wanna become someone to be proud of. Thats enough for me to say they are the best band I've ever seen.
@@annoyingspore It's still a documentary. It's just that in Anglophone countries you're not used to this style of documentary without a narrator. In France there is a documentary show called "striptease" where there is no narrator you follow somebody for a period of time doing their job or hobby whatever and follow their daily life. It's the rawness, the "no filter", unedited footage what makes this style of documentary popular in countries like France.
