Nicely done, as always! You guys have a really sweet setup going there! Are you worried about losing any nitrogen to volatilization without having closing coulters behind the knives?
Thanks! Injecting it deep enough with the knives really doesn’t put the nitrogen at much risk to volatilizations from what we’ve seen since it isn’t sitting out on the surface. A rain to come along after the application is certainly helpful though.
@@PoynterFamilyFarms nice! Just like to understand operational logistics I guess. Seems you guys don’t have the typical “small chore tractor, medium planter tractor, big tillage tractor” lineup, more like similar sized tractors that can all do the same jobs 👍🏼
