The blade is made from depleted uranium and the hopper is made of pure BPA plastic, the first of which is guaranteed to cause cancer and the second has been linked, but then the immense immune boosting properties of your juice (as long as produce is organic or "Clean 15") easily counteract it, so nothing to worry about :) Just kidding =P I have no idea but I would be surprised if a £600 juicer used plastic that had BPA in it. And I think the BPA scaremongering is overblown anyway. We're bombarded with toxins every day so I wouldn't fret about BPA. If you're juicing, you're health conscious and healthy living. The longest lived people in the world (Seventh Day Adventists) are vegan/vegetarian. And Bryan Johnson, the billionaire who is terrified of dying and wants to live forever, spends all his time, and $2m a year, practicing the healthiest lifestyle and consuming the best supplements and treatments known to science, including eating a Whole Food Plant Based (VEGAN) diet. So if you're super worried about cancer, go WFPB Vegan :) And drink green tea and hibiscus tea and juice away!

I'm in the UK and got the same model/colour from the same place. Replaced my omega 843....it's a great juicer. Cleaning on the hurom is quick and easy. The juice quality is great too
