This reminds me of the days of Lilith Fair when Paula Cole Jewel indigo girl Sarah McLachlan and the Great Queen of rock that never stops Melissa etheridge.
Thank you !!! KC girl !! Saw then with the awesome Melissa Etheridge a month ago in Maine. It was epic & magical when the Super full Moon came out over the lake . The venue was outside and it was incredible!! Got tickets to see Indigo Girls in December in Medford, MA !! ✌️😁
I missed the Maine show, but I saw a bunch of them, and that was a dream pairing in my world. FYI, I posted Kid Fears (together) from St. Louis and You Can Sleep While I Drive (together) from Bethel Woods.
@@patricethomassin2206 I missed those two, as well, but it's hard to complain about I Heard It Through the Grapevine and Proud Mary, if he was going to pick two covers.
@@dancingtrout6719 Um. I did not say anything about it being "popular," and right in the title, I say, "Marvin Gaye Cover"! So I'm still not really sure what you're trying to communicate, but I hope you enjoyed the video!
I remember when their title albums were released and I didn't want to stop listening to either one from end to end. This concert is a dream come true. Thank you for sharing.
Going to the show in DE tomorrow, meet and greet with ME., center row E. My date backed out at the last minute, I’m going to dance with the empty seat next to me. Better
Was lucky enough to see this show in Boston last night. Just amazing. Anyone who's a fan of either Indigo Girls or Melissa Etheridge would be smart to get tickets.
I was in the second row for this show. Since Lucy Wainwright Roche was part of the IGs band, I assumed she would do Michael Stipe's part ... then Melissa came back out. Holy cow, how great.
@@mikeholtzclaw3995 I was in A14, right in front of Amy's mic. Then it was someone right near you who was fist bumping someone in the front row, throughout the night. Hope you had a great show!
@@whofanextraordinaire2672 Ahhhhh, yes, that was me. My friend Marsha was in the front row and i was right behind her. She was with her partner and I was with my best friend from high school. I flew in from Virginia to see this show because Marsha and I have wanted to see a show together for decades. (She first played IGs music for me 35 years ago.) We finally made it happen, and as you could tell, it was a big deal to us.
@@mikeholtzclaw3995 I LOVE that! So happy the four of you got to share such a fun show. You might enjoy reading my extensive write up. If you feel comfortable putting an email address on here, I'd be happy to send it along. (Or does RU-vid have messaging of some sort? I honestly don't know.)
