Real bummer no audio for this one. I know the modeling takes a lot of time but even a quickened voice over would really help, alot of geometry and constraints going on in this portion. Excellent modelling regardless!
Awesome designing! I've used fusion 360 by autodesk before but never used solidworks before. Looking forward to another video on making a cylinder head, interested in how you tie the valves and cams together(modeling the cam mounts and how they integrate with the back sides of the runners.

This is amazing. I subscribed. I want this! One question relating to water, and common wear and tear. This looks like if one thing goes bad you gotta replace the entire thing 😅 pricey. What's your perspective on that?
I made it from the perspective that in 2040 we will have a multi metal 3dprinter that can print motors from scratch. If you where able to print it yourself or order the motor from print services, it shouldn’t be the most expensive to produce
Nice Concept & good work on the Solidworks. I think you have a lot of engineering to do regarding keeping contaminants out of the ball bearings and all the rest of the parts that are spinning around.
pretty convoluted fix to getting it to merge, but solidworks can be like that , its smart enough to know there's a problem but dumb enough not to show you what the problem is, wouldn't knit function fix all of this ?

A rim bearing is a problem waiting to happen, an expensive problem at that. Make bearings as small as possible. We well be developing one of my novel power-dense hub drives soon.
What you will find is that dynamic braking (using the motor's output to slow down the wheel) will not be sufficient to stop the vehicle to requirement. This is why all electric vehicles today have clamping brakes as well as dynamic braking to slow the car. I worked on a client's turret motion system that required active braking -- actually driving the DC motor in reverse -- to slow the turret down quickly enough to meet spec. You might look into that as a form of braking when required.
