We are admittedly homebodies and have been doing home improvements, fixes, crafts and all sorts of DIY projects for the last 30 years. We decided to start a RU-vid channel and share all of our projects with you. Hopefully you'll be inspired to take on some projects of your own and maybe you could save some money doing your own home improvements and fixes. Along the way, we'll also share product reviews of things we buy for our house. Glad you're here and hope you enjoy!
If you bought this specific jump starter and there was no power adapter in the box, I'd suggest that you take it back and either get a new one or get your money back.
Very, very little when it's heating up. I know dogs though. My one girl is afraid of flies and if she hears shots outside. The boy is afraid of thunder. Neither one was ever bothered by the heater though.
Excellent tutorial! I got one of these used a few years ago and it will need this before winter. Also, loosening a filter when you drain crankcase oil on a motor helps get more oil out and it drains more quickly. Thanks again!
You certainly can do it this way, however with todays tools you can work smarter. I used a siphon pump or even used Automotive Fluid Extractor Pump, Oil Change Syringe with Hose no fuss no mess. It is a good idea to run the motor I usually change the oil after the grass is cue. Oil changes are very easy now a days.
Yup, great idea! My guest bathroom gets remodeled this week. Grey and white marble color scheme. I found simple white linen, French country, with tassels and a black stitched line on the bottom. I also found extra long liners at Ikea in Palo Alto, CA. Thanks for another great tip! Can't wait to see them in my bathroom.
This video was made two years ago but I have a question about my little Troy-Bilt ride on. So it starts up I get on it I put it in gear and I cut the lawn for about a half hour and then all the sudden it just starts sputtering sputtering and completely dies. It's got over a half a tank of gas in it what could be the issue? I changed the air filter as it was easy but I don't know what else to do Thank you
We moved our whole butcher block and underneath storage out side for ventilation during sanding! My ? Is, is it ok to apply the Tung oil while it’s in the sun to dry or should it be covered after first coat?.
When I immigrated to the US from Germany, the whole credit history thing seemed very strange to me. In Germany you are good for a loan if you do not have debts. In the US you are good for a loan if you can proof that you paid back your debts. So you have to make debts first to get good credit rating. I remember that Macy's was the first who gave me a credit card. I bought one item and paid it off. I did that every month until I. had enough credit history to get a car loan. After that, I destroyed my Macy's card. I had one for flyer miles to Germany and always paid back the amount I charged in full in the following month. I completely agree not to use credit cards if you can avoid it.
I just broke someone's exact model chandelier (helped relative carry long Ikea wood and hit and broke the nickel arm) and just as I was considering paying someone to install it you uploaded this video for installing the exact same chandelier. Thanks for the timely save!
I can find out how to cut carpet tiles around doorways and round area. but can't find the easiest or best way to cut carpet tiles around the uneven base of a stone chimney.
@@steveandritasdiy I used Toasted Sesame Seed Oil for the sauce. It really compliments the other ingredients. I made an Asian salad with it and jasmine rice and waited until everyone was sitting at the table before I put the meat in the sauce to keep it crispy - out of this world. They gobbled everything up. You've got some great recipe there.
It's my understanding, or at least my assumption, that there ought to be a difference in sound, motion, feel, etc, between the "drill" and "hammer" settings. However, I have one of these, and all it seems to do, in either switch position, is "drill," with no apparent "hammer" action -- which is useless for the work I want it to do, which in this case is drilling into stone. Is my drill broken or am I misunderstanding how it's supposed to work? Will its behavior change with the auxiliary handle mounted as you have done here? I haven't tried that yet. My supposedly carbide-tipped masonry-concrete-and-stone drill bit isn't doing much good, either. Need to drill four holes an inch deep, and have been blowing my brains out just to get a quarter inch deep in one hole. Please advise. I think I bought this thing used somewhere so I probably have no recourse to return it anywhere.
Yes, there should be a "hammer" action. If you're using the correct masonry bit, you should be able to make those holes no problem. This exact hammer drill is on sale at Harbor Freight now for $10.97.
Can you tell me where the air filter is on the TB30. My Husband passed and I'm going to try to do the oil change myself ! Fingers crossed ! This is a very helpful video ! Thank you !
@@steveandritasdiy Wow ! Thanks so much !! I've searched everywhere and couldn't find it . Wish me luck, I've never done anything like this before 🙂Thanks again !!!!!
The tutorial is excellent. I’ve seen other piping videos where the cord and tape a cut on a slant to join, which seemed a bit intimidating to me. This video was nice and straightforward. BTW: I really liked the fabric choice. It made such a pretty pillow!
@@steveandritasdiy Not mine! My mower has a safety feature that does not allow it to crank if you are not sitting on it, pressing the clutch, in neutral with the blades disengaged. So jumping it is a 2 person operation.
Yes, you're right by what you've heard..there is no "Tong Oil" in that (funny that that doesn't tell you what is in it!)...but very sorry you have done that to your butcher block, because in that finish has "COBALT"...can be harmful from food surface use, even if some foods contain Cobalt of healthy daily amount properties, otherwise continue use could result to 'overkill' amounts. All is not wasted...sand that all off, and get special oils that are made and branded "Butcher Block Oil"/"Cutting Board Oil"...and 'DOESN'T have Cobalt.
You are 100% correct! I've learned to never...never....never trust marketing lies from every single pos company out there, always read the MSDS SHEET, not what is on the can, that's part of the marketing lies.
