Hi I'm Antonio Ravina and I like to sing. The versions that I perform and post here are not perfect, I am not a professional singer nor do I work with music currently. This is a passion I have and I do it on my spare time.
I Will be posting vocal covers and other types of collaborations (when possible) in this channel here. I like to sing a broad variety of music so don't expect only one type of music on here. I do not use any pitch correctors nor auto tune on these covers.
I used to play music with these bands:
Kinabalu: youtube.com/@Kinabalurocks
Circle of Chaos: ru-vid.com/group/OLAK5uy_mrT7X0tz1aBosqMjQs4S4i0RVIWC-wPnU
Barbus: youtube.com/@BarbusSwe

apprezzo il commento, forse la prossima volta potrò migliorare o aumentare il volume. è una canzone difficile e la parte più impegnativa è stata accettare il senso della mia voce in questa canzone
Just from producer to producer - I'd say use less reverb during the verses. A simple plate will work. You can push it during the choruses. Your overdubs don't need to repeat every word, just emphasise some lines, you could also pan or stereo widen them. Judging by your room you might find your U87 getting better results in Cardioid mode rather than Omni. I'd also lift it a tad bit higher.
Thank you. I am using a cheap Rode nt1-A that I bought over 12 years ago (I wish I could afford a u87) on this recording and had multiple layers of the vocals. My first layer on this track I had the mic turned around (my kids were playing and I didn't notice) which I kept since I thought it sounded good. I appreciate all the tips, especially for the overdubs (I actually have the choruses with panned overdubs and middle as well)! My room has no acoustic treatment which is something I would look into as well since everything sounds so very sharp (perhaps the angle matters here as you mentioned).
@@antonioravina Oh wow it looks just like a U87 at a glance! They clearly took some inspiration. That Rode is a popular mic and honestly still great for vocals. Where i've got a choice of vocal mics that's probably in my top 3. Vocal processing all comes down compression, saturation, EQ, de-esser and reverb, and working out the best order of that chain as it's not always the same, but tends to be for the same vocalist.
@@antonioravina Never thought of that. I'm part way through a degree in music production. I could set up a RU-vid channel for production advice as a project. It's hard to get noticed doing that though there's so many channels like that.
It's hard to get noticed doing anything on RU-vid now a days unless you have super mega production and/or been putting vids on RU-vid for a while. For me, I just want to sing and would like people to hear my voice and that is enough for now.
Det är en ganska bra Ad-Rock imitation :) Någon sa till mig en gång att rap är den enda genren som det inte görs covers på. Älskar scenkläderna! Helt i linje med videon.
