I ran Crysis on a 4Gb Rx 470. What matters is resolution and details - lol So your comment should be "Can it run Crysis in 4k with RT overdrive?" From looking how bad the 4090 is with Alan Wake and Cyberpunk in 4K, we will have to wait and see with the 5090
if they are going down in power and physical size, they are holding back on performance, a larger physical size and more power usage would be more powerfull GPU , id say skip the 5000 and wait for its "big brother" what will be bigger, more power hungry, more powerfull version
They really need to train their fricken AI's to accommodate for tech linguistics. Saying the darn numbers like that is idiotic. Spend a day training the AI on actual fricken technology videos so it doesn't sound so *STUPID.* PS If the 5090 comes out at around _"two-thousand dollars and zero cents"_ USD (sorry, had to type it in a way the AI would say it ;^) I am going to be pissed. I didn't buy a 4090 at launch bc I thought they were overpriced. Still do, but the market will obviously tolerate it so wtv. Anyway, $2K would piss me off as I do plan on getting one, but I don't want to pay more than $1800 for it. It wouldn't be a big deal if the 5080 was within, say 17%-25 of the 5090 like they used to be with 70% of the VRAM, but I highly, highly doubt that will be the case. Rumors are the 5080 might lose to the fricken current 4090 which would be an absolute joke as well. To make matters worse, if you want a high-end card for 4K w/RT you only have Nvidia to choose from this gen and apparently for next gen as well *_if_* AMD is really not releasing any high-end models. It's not even a matter of affording the cards at this point. More-so it boils down to _"Am I getting what I am paying for? Is this worth the price of a used Honda Civic couple?"_ Or maybe there simply are just that many people who think of $2K like I think of $5 bucks and it doesn't really matter if it's worth it as long as it is the most powerful card at the time? _"Sigh"_ Man I wish I wasn't so into story driven single player games. Unfortunately I am though, and this 10GB 3080 justtisn't cutting it with modern games anymore, and I am only at 1440P right now! Heh, if they would have put 16GB on these cards they would have been legendary as opposed to being a cautionary tale for anyone not playing at 1080P high or lower (single player games, not multi-player where the card is fricken incredible).
I own an MS GeForce 4080 16GB Super Slim video card. And run an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16 core CPU. I'm getting an average 156fps at everything maxed out at 1080p (Perfectly fine with that resolution). In the Cyber Punk 2077 in game benchmark. This is my average framerate for all my games at 1080p. All your paying for, for the 5090, is more frames right now. Which if you have a 4080 or 4090. Those cards will serve you just fine for gaming today. If you have an outdated 2000 or 3000 nVidia video cards. Then the 5090 would be a good option for you. It's all a waiting game till when it's time to get new hardware.
Just admit that this 5 series is no way geared up for the average user. I don't know how we can be in a depression yet Nvidia is still charging these ridiculous prices for tech that they already have the next 50 years of tech to drip feed us! It's all a con and I ain't buying into it. We used to buy GPU's for gaming, then for crypto mining and now for as much Vram as we can get on one board to run our local AI's at home. Notice how even High end GPUS are arriving with limited Vram. I still hang with my GTX1080! It does me proud with its 8GB Vram and stable overclock to 2,063 Mhz. I am not complaining!
More like they will release what should actually called the 5080 as a "5090" then after they sold out to the gotta have it right now buyer, later drop the actual big die 5090ti or super for way more money to get more out of those same people that want the best.
I'm going to bring down the cost of GPUs to their lowest levels ever! Kamala is going to give out 5090s to the illegal aliens and leave Americans with only being able to get 1050tis. Under my administration we are going to bring the best GPUs to the American people again and we are gonna bring back the PC dream!
I’m doubtful of that more like 16-1700 they wanna keep that 2k open for the ti if needed they can’t charge more than 2 grand for a gaming card no one’s gonna buy that because of aib tax
PS6 needs to play physical media of PS2, PSP, PS Vita, PS4 and PS5. If PS1 is included, it could be emulation but improved like how XBOX Series X/S is with their backwards compatibility. PS6 should also be like Switch how it’s a hybrid system between home and portable. And it needs to be released in Fall 2029 or Fall 2030 for the 35th anniversary of PS1.
I can't give an example for a specific game, but for example, in most fighting games where using a joystick makes a difference, the Victrix Pro BFG will make it easier for you to do combos, etc. Also, everyone's needs/budget can be different in terms of ergonomics, feel and price.🎮
