OMG every time I watch this I see a new reminder of the GFriend storyline. From Apple 🍎 trees to Fallin Light ladders Yerin climbed on. So I really enjoyed watching you trying to spot some too. But Time for the Moon Night cassettes and Fever music video sets with flowers all played a part with Yerin recreating Yuju magically catching a butterfly 🦋 triggering Navillera memories. Cleaning the glass bead making it pristine for a GFriend comeback was the best bit especially as she enlisted Na.Vs to help do it. The whole setting was a return of The Witch Shop Reopens as Yerin uses her magic powers for good purposes. But the girl appearing at the end wearing an outfit so like the one Umji wore in the Mago music video made me rewind to make sure it wasn’t actually her.
Definitely butterflies 🦋 for me fixing the Glass Bead, which is needed for the redebut of GFriend seeing as it was pristine for their debut in 2015. My Favourite styling of Yerin is this comeback. I can see that she is taking this comeback very seriously with a full mini album and clearly she has been working out at the gym to get in the very best shape I have seen her since GFriend. Some answers to your questions in no particular order: The MV is about people hating on them and calling them fake idols, and transforming into fans as the song progresses (you noticed some stuff already, like 가짜 아이돌 becoming 진짜 idol which you got right, fake idol becoming fate idol, etc.). They are not mocking first pitches btw (Chodan and Magenta did one very recently lol), its just the same narrative about the mascot calling them fake. The guy throwing eggs is actually another meme (back from the T-ARA scandal days, you like SNSD so you might have seen the original meme lol). Other comments already gave you the translation to Hina and Magenta's line but I think they missed a lot of nuance there. The first line is "Born from the algorithm", hinting at their streamer/influencer origins, but its written al(gorithm). The pun here is that al (알) means egg so this also hinting at "Born from the egg" lol Magenta's line is "To blossol over tinted glasses" which means to win and overcome prejudice. And finally, at the end after the song, Chodan says "Thanks for tuning in to 10:18 news" (10.18 is their debut date) and Soyeon says "It's been cloudy these days but finally tomorrow will be sunny". It's confirmed this is a prerelease with a mini album coming, so the current theory given all their hints is that the title track will be written by Soyeon and maybe will be title "Tomorrow is Sunny" but it's all speculation at this point lol

They've been taking a quite a bit of flack from "faithfuls" of the rock and roll genre and k-pop fanatics at the same time since their debut. Some horrid and mostly damning critics in addition to streamer haters. The song paints a positive spin on it while yelling back at these critics. It's pretty much, 'born from algorithm, all people calling us fake idol, we'll show you now, because we are everyone's idol'. It's not translation, but this is what I got out of it between the lines. Melody is not super impressive at first, I think because it's not formulaic and is slight off beat to traditional k-pop. But more I listen to it, it's really warmed up, ready to catch fire.
For me my ranking is similar to yours. So similar in fact it is identical to yours except for me swapping round Permeate and One Thing as number 2 and 3. A great album in prospect.
I totally agree with you on this being the best style we have seen from Yerin. I actually commented on her community post when it was uploaded that her white outfit was so good we need to see it on her stages.
@@GermanSone did you see Yerin busking yesterday and performing Wavy and 4U. It was emotional watching Yerin tear up on stage when she spotted a friend filming her in the audience amongst the public standing watching. It was Yuju hidden behind a mask but that didn’t hide her from Yerin when she spotted her. Yerin looked and sounded fabulous by the way.

In the first teaser the people are critizing QWER, calling them fake idols. In the second teaser, the scene were they put a camera on Hina's face and the one where Siyeon breaks in Magenta's news are references to two famous Korean memes. Btw you missed that Magenta is playing a 5 string bass in some scenes, she has only played 4 string bass before this. They also have a ton of appearances on other channels besides the content in their official channel, so be sure not to miss those! They also have a lot of hilarious lives but unfortunately no subtitles 😢

I agree that this was definitely the noisiest Yerin video I have ever seen. I felt exhausted and my ears were shattered afterwards and I wasn’t even wearing headphones! So I laughed much more at your reaction to it as I knew what was to come and I had the volume turned down. Are you going to react to all of Yerin’s concept photos and teasers for her comeback? There isn’t anyone who has done that to my knowledge anywhere. Her teasers for the music video and the Rewrite highlight medley come out at the weekend too just a day before the new album drops.

Yerin with the cassette beside a wide window is literally a nod back to her character in Time for the Moon Night. The fan and overall summer feeling are also reminiscent of Me Gustas Tu. The paper planes literally has something to do with Umji's scenes in TFTMN, Sunrise, and Sunny Summer. The wooden staircase is also very similar to SinB's first scene in Love Whisper MV. Yerin's hair color and scene at the rooftop also looks like Yuju's rooftop shot at the start of Memoria MV. the street near the train tracks is heavily inspired from her solo running scene towards the end of Rough MV. I am still waiting for BadVillain and VIVIZ to get together for a dance challenge. As the only two girl groups at BPM I would have thought that the company would have prioritised that as an actual schedule for at least some of the members. I wonder if we will ever see that now.
