So love the concept. I’m in New Braunfels and you’re in Austin. Quick question: we have ringtail cats in the green belt. Will this keep them out? The ringtail cats are like lemur/ferret monsters. Trying to protect the two girls I have left. I need something asap! Let me know if this can keep them out. Thank you

The only way this sized set up would be appropriate for 6 birds, is if they are bantam. If you enclosed 6 regularly sized chickens in that thing, you’ll have serious behavioural issues. Also, the coop doesn’t have ventilation, chickens need fresh air. Also, chickens don’t do well in the heat - they could literally die of it. If you have nothing to protect your birds from digging predators, you’ve created a perfect place for them to be trapped and killed. Food and water shouldn’t be kept in a coop. Please do some research if you plan on getting chickens (maybe look at the backyard chickens forum, or the chicken chick, both useful resources). I’m sorry you spent money on such a terrible product and hope this information is helpful and isn’t too late.

@@K.L.M.Online Hi, founder here! We’ve been raising chickens for a collective 18 years. We stressed and tested every inch of this coop. Addressing your comments line by line: 1) if you’ll notice on our website, we recommend the coop to house 4 medium sized or 6 smaller breeds. So, you’re correct, and we verbatim tell people this. 2) We invested heavily in ventilation + cross draft design. There are two upper vents on front, two in rear, and the floor is vented. We are Texan- we understand chickens in hot weather! Live with it for 6 months every year. 3) Our run is made from 82 lbs of welded steel. We’ve yet to have a single customer have digging issues (writing this publicly so anyone can chime in). We understand that digging can be a significant problem, and will likely release an add on for customers that live in predator-heavy areas. But, to date, not a single predator has been able to dig under, and we have customers in 31 different states. Thanks for your comments, love the dialogue, but we’re serious about our chickens and our coop!

Also - food and water isn’t kept in the coop. The feed and water canisters are in transport / shipping mode shown here. They are custom fitted to attach to the metal on the run. Maybe you should also do some research ;)

I just boiled my last 4 old eggs. They all floated to the top when i put them in the water. They tasted great. I made egg salad.

We need egg vending machines like they have in Europe and Japan. Cheaper for everyone and fresher.

Hello. Congratulations on your new chicken coop, I hope you use it on happy days. How many chickens can be housed in this coop? Could you please write this?

Love this idea but it's very small. 3 chickens tops.

It's one of the nicer chicken coffins ⚰️ I've seen, but not all coops are ugly or built wrong, my chicken run looks like a jurassic park cage 😂

The run would still need hardware cloth added for predator protection also the ablity to add plexiglass acrylic sheets for high wind areas would be a great option (a way to slide in the acrylic). Love the fact that it is easy to clean. Would love to see a longer and taller run. Most chicken keepers spend time with their chickens so it'd be great to have a run that an adult can walk in rather than kid sized. I think the standard is each chicken needs at least 4 square feet of space. That run is not a run, but with modifications as mentioned above, I would certainly consider buying one.

So you mentioned Alaska on your video and on your website you say you don’t ship to Alaska or Hawaii (?) I just emailed you. I’m willing to pay Fedex shipping charges. Hopefully this can be done.
