I bought a bunch of tickets to bands I’ve never seen when they had the $25 tix special so we were drenched all the way though. But in spite of I still really enjoyed. Truth be told I’m lifelong sabbath, Ozzie, priest, maiden fan but by 16 I’ve been a dead head my whole life ( love all music). My wife and kids have come to shows and I know they don’t love it so I’ve been buying tix to what they listen to so I can go experience with them. I really liked more then I thought KoRn. Eapecially when delving in and seeing how influential they were in starting a genre of their own.
I often watch The Who with the orchestral backing and wonder what the orchestral playing really think. Apart from earning some money do they enjoy the event or think this type of music is below them?
What a great question. Of course I have no idea lol but I do think middle of Nashville on a beautiful night playing a pop culture classic with a rock legend would have to be pretty cool.

Beautiful piece, tribute to his late stepdaughter Lucy Bleu, daughter of his partner Meegan, I can't say I know how you feel, nor would I ever want to losing a child is the worst thing that can ever happen to a mother,since there is a great bond between the two, a mothers love never dies, and she will always remain in your heart

I've seen this album in it's entirety with a live orchestra with all but Mike Pinder on stage. For those who may not know, Mike died not long ago. Altogether I'm 12 concerts in with the Moodies.
That is awesome! Sad for the recent deaths especially the one right before induction into R&R HOF. I was excited I got to see what I did a few times in 80’s and the 50th anniversary was epic. Although I was dissapointed the way they promoted I was expecting orchestra not realizing they recorded it on the first dates in UK and then we had recordings. But still outstanding

When I originally saw performer list way back when I didn't read the fine print. I just saw; Samantha Fish, Larkin Poe, Warren Haynes and Eric Gayles and was disappointed when I figured out they were different artists in different cities.
Sorry just saw the comment. Yes we flew from Tampa Florida. I took my two sons 23 and 16 I saw the 13th and 14th I only took them one night @ $400 a tix when they don’t even like the dead (as much as I’ve tried lol). I would have stayed for #3 but the next day was Father’s Day and my Birthday and I didn’t want to be a jerk and not be with my girls so we took red eye home. Quite the adventure!!! Did you make any shows
May is so underrated he's one of the greatest guitarist ever the song about a stall in the way that he presents himself the love he has for music on stage just shows through and his music is it's unbelievable I like a lot of bands and I supported a lot of people and stuff like just straight love music John Mayer Rob Thomas Shannon Hoon BB King John popper the Robbins Brothers Black Crowes Shaman's Harvest for what they did with the when doves cry and acoustic set Zakk Wylde what do you do with some of his more mellow music in the acoustic sets adding piano any of the great vocalists that just laid it down Layne Staley Chris Cornell the by for John Mayer and Rob Thomas is up there high on that list just for the musical ability and dedication the contribution to music and the life
I had always seen JM on awards shows in ensembles and was super impressed with his blues playing. Solo stuff just hadn’t been exposed too. But his journey into the Dead world gave me mad respect. Some guitar giants have played since Jerry but for me there is no doubt this incarnation is the best.
Can’t replace Jerry just embrace what we have. This night Bobby looked sick but the next night he came alive. I’ll get to those.. takes longer to edit and post then never imagined lol
Can’t disagree I was fortunate to see north or 100 shows with Jerry and miss him every day! But enjoy what I can get to perpetuate my love of this music and post Jerry this is killer❤
