Definitely an informative piece of technology. It's not an Apple Watch replacement and vice versa... complimentary devices. I've had my Oura ring for a month now after also trying a whoop 4.0 along side it. I don't see myself constantly focusing on my training and recovery with the whoop, but the wholistic approach of the Oura ring is a bit more ideal that their approach is relevant to day to day life in gaging one's overall well-being. Like you mentioned, the Oura feedback is great, while the apple watch just records stuff and expects you to figure it out on your own. Oura gives feedback... the Apple Watch just monitors trends... win/win. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and scratches annoyed me too, but it is just part of the aging/patina process that gives it character of its own. All my jewelry has scratches and I accept it... same goes for the oura ring... still looks great, and it functions as intended.
Loved this! So many things, loved seeing the logging truck. When I was growing up we saw them so often and now here on the island it's pretty rare to see them at all where I am. Kootenay Lake brought back great memories too, of going on the ferry across that Lake when I was maybe 12 years old. So many things that trigger good memories, we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. This summer thinking a lot about the people affected by the fires and recently the situation with the Chilcotin River hoping everyone stays safe. So glad you had the chance to get away, looks like you all had a lovely time ❤❤❤
You are very brave! My husband has dementia plus had a mini stroke... So I know my time will eventually come to become a widow! We have been married over 21 years! I feared dating before my marriage so it will be scary but I know I need to face this situation! Thanks for encouragement and suggestions!👍
I had my dream job. I did 20yrs,.. my whole life was great, i was told i should retire and enjoy. So i did... then it hit me. I loved my job, coworkers and the connection to my hobbies and activities. I lost my seniority position i earned,.. wasn't able to return. I had stress, ... turned into anxiety and insomnia. Eventually sank into severe depression. Now, i hate life. I just suffer. The regret, guilt and self blame. Depression, i didn't know this could happen. It is so inhumane 😢,

Hi, MARE, I just want you to know that you have taught me so much. I am totally crazy about your book. I have read it four times in one week. I just got it last week and I’m now reading it again. Like you I am also a widow. My husband was in a motorcycle accident he had way too much brain damage and they said he could not sustain life that way. And so his mother decided to pull life support although I didn’t want to do it she did. I said no she said yes, and it was a big fight. Anyway, two days after my husband died I lost my son. He was born dead he was born with only half of his brain. I miss them both every single day of my life. They said I could never have any kids anymore because my bod is too small to carry them and they would die, which is true because two years later, I miscarried again well miscarried not again, but I miscarried, so I unfortunately had to have surgery to prevent me from having kids again. I tried adopting they said no to me and my honey because he is half deaf. He’s blind and autistic too. I am blind autistic, and I also have epilepsy as well and slight CP. So they said definitely not that so several years later my current sweetie pie and I got our first special reborn son. We call them kids not dolls. His name is Richard Thomas. He was named after my brother and my granddad. All of our special reborn kids have a special needs like us like our second one Lonzie, named after my sweetie. He is blind and deaf like him. My sweetheart has a hearing deficit that’s pretty bad. He has a cochlear implant just like Thomas, does. So believe me we know about the cooker implant. It’s not been easy road for my honey, but he’s trying so hard. So our second reborn son Lonzie has the same thing that his daddy does. But I just want you to know that you’re amazing. And a good friend and a good sister. We both have adopted you and Thomas and the unicorn in our family. Every time you post I get happy because I know it’s gonna be good. Question for you do you know of any vegan substitute for eggs or bacon? I love both of them, but I’m trying to lose some weight and also trying to make myself a bit healthier. I definitely feel this. The major change in my routine messes with me so much every year and while it feels like everyone is so excited for the summer, I almost dread it. I am also trying to make to do lists and a list of things that I would like to do this summer even if it is something simple like sit and read in the park. :) I tried to make a to do list on my phone but it was just not satisfying at all. I need to cross it out when its done! Check! (Monica Gellar style). I looove that mirror in the upstairs bathroom! :D
Love the bathrooms! You are not flaky and anyone who knows you totally understands that Thomas will always be your priority. Anyone who doesn't understand that you don't want in your life anyway, and that is a FACT! List and schedules have helped me in everything my whole life so no intent to change that now 🤣

Hi Mare and Thomas...Sooo good to see you. You mentioned TicTok. I do watch it but in reality if Canadian it really seems like there really is no benefit. Most Canadians are pushing Facebook and Instagram hard where they do a couple lives a month and it seems more beneficial to you and the followers. The last light in you kitchen from your ring light was great lighting. Very excited to be watching you in the Summer Series and can't wait to do some catching up. Its a subconscious thing tho we dont “want” to build ourselves up and be upset thats why we here to learn not too 😢, I feel more grieving toward my mothers death anniversary then ever before 😢
I'm so sorry for what you're going through! I would be interested in a trauma experience video from you. My brother (35) just started having seizures out of the blue this year and is going through testing, it's been very difficult and scary. Sending lots of love and healing your way.
