my 8 year old son got the red kid zebco like that. he caught a 3 lb bass saturday and it was bending like that. i thought it was about to break. 😂 i told him i guess we need to upgrade cause id hate for him to catch a 5+pounder in that lake lol
Not a problem you simply just recast and let it catch a bigger Bass!! I could teach you guys a few things ask any questions I am here to help you I have been fishing professionally full-time for the last 2 years and have a wealth of knowledge
You just simply have to know what to do with them and it's not a problem it's actually a blessing in disguise saves having to have a minnow bucket and you don't have to put up with all the fuss
@@sopranos45 I just caught a 3 pound small mouth yesterday, that thing was a blessing in disguise, it was swimming with sunnies before it attacked my worm
Add some aeration to that pond my brother, you could make a giant home made sponge filter with pcp pipes and cheap ass aquarium sponge from Amazon. Works like a charm. You can design them to create either normal aeration or a lot of aeration depending on the amount of surface agitation you’re going for. All you need is a $15 air pump to run them.
By the way, when you put that first minimum in it had a seizure because it wasn’t acclimated to the water and you had to acclimate your fish so they don’t have a seizure and die
This actually isn’t how you set up the Curado DC. You just eliminate the side to side wobble in the spool with the tension knob. The fall of the bait is irrelevant. The brake setting is determined by the line you use. 1 is for super calm conditions, 2 for braid and mono, 3 for fluorocarbon, and 4 for high wind if I am not mistaken. All this info is in the manual and I believe an insert in the box.
@@leepao6302 actually if you had experience you would know that this is for begginners, and you actually want to set the brakes and spool tension as low as possible to the point where your not backlashing much but getting the most distance out of your casts. no matter how windy it is I set mine at number one for breaks , and my tension knob has very low side-to-side play. unless your throwing something over 1 oz I don't recommend using any setting above one unless it's your first time using a bait caster.
