LOL..... I remember typing in games and programs from magazines. At that time I did not have a tape drive even (I was using a Atari-400) I was SO excited when I was able to save up and buy the tape drive and could save my work. That was I guess early 80s since I was still in high school and had to sneak in early to use the apple II's in the special ed classrooms. :) Still coding today (right now actually) Great talk....thanks for this!
everyone is so amazed by how efficient and fast ID worked I dont want to sound, and i will, like an eliteist but they wouldnt have have the success if they didnt work like that It was a different time back then, and efficiency was number one They worked hard, they fixed bugs right when they appeared and they added as much tech as they could
not to mention ios 17 released 6 months ago and still absolutely nothing on the promised “sideloading features” so that’s why they received an extra fine for missing the deadline
yup and can’t wait to see how they blue ball us with the new app store regulations allowing for “emulators and game streaming apps” I bet none of the emulators as we know it like retroarch citra dolphin etc come to ios but instead maybe sega will make a dreamcast app that you can repurchase the games on
