It's just the mods once applied that lock the weapon. If you learn the crafting plan and make the weapon, it is traceable. Only when a boxed mod is used, is the item character locked. Afaik
With such weapons i see no point in modding them, maybe spend 20 modules to craft good 1-st star and scrap on alts to get good effects, but it's way more convenient to gather scrip and wait for murmrgh sale
I mean... You can drop or sell the mods individually... So why put them on a weapon when you could just give the mods to friends who can then decide what weapon to put them on? It's an interesting glitch, I suppose, but that's about it.
@@psycleshift but you've no control over what mods you'll get for 15 modules. You also can't drop or trade a weapon that you've modded, only ones you've rolled or found, except for the weapons listed in the video. I suppose if you'd rolled or found 2 decent effects but added a mod to make it a groll, that *could* be advantageous, but it all seems a bit niche.
@@vincentwilkes1955 I only have issues with world bosses. Even the mutants at westex are one or two shots. Add in the AoE and it's really good. Why waste expensive ammo when you can take out a half dozen or so enemies with one or two arrows. All weapons in this game are balanced, just because you don't know the strengths of one doesn't mean it's trash. I've played with just about every weapon the game offers and they all have their pros and cons.
So you can scrap it and unlock mods?hm,wont beth ban for that? Fixed. I just wish Bethesda would fix years lasting bugs so fast, as bugs which would profit the players P.S. Nah it still works) Sadly weapons you can mod is't really good compared to meta
Wait, I'm confused. Do you get to keep the mods after you mod the weapons, or is the glitch just that you can mod these weapons and drop them? Because if it's the latter this is a nothing burger. I can just give the mods to my alt's or friends.
Yea but maybe that friend doesn’t have the materials or say the legendary script to add the weapon to the weapon there selfs. But yes this is to drop weapons that you already modded with the legendary mods
@@NuclearWisdom I suppose it could be useful in that situation, although it only takes 15 modules to roll a weapon, which is just 3 Encryptids or ACP's. Failing that, the lazy option would be to just easily find a scrip roll 3* of whatever weapon you or your friend want to mod for like 1-3k caps. No rolling necessary. In any case, I doubt Beth will rush to patch this.
@@NuclearWisdom yes for me too, I don't think there are others. I'm making myself an xp armor in fact and I'm accumulating the mods but I need to know if there is a particular armor that can go well or it doesn't matter as long as it has at least unyelding and intelligence +2. I proceeded with making another one of the secret services in doubt.
@@MrMorp76 I can’t wait for this The New Ghoul Build Coming To Fallout 76....SPOILERS..... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qzs7YyDJK7Y.html
More stuff, more bugs. From recent what I've encountered: no legendary enemies spawn, endless beast of burden event, textures not loading, kicked out of game more often, crashes in expedition. I love this game but man, so many bugs which are not fixed but nerfing some goodies which were working fine for years
The beeing disliked by some npcs and factions part will probably just be limited to some dialogue. They dont want players to get locked out out of content
Imagine how many more subscribers and views fo76 creators would have if these devs weren't chasing players away and running the game into the ground with every update. Ofc it's a "secret" change, even the idiots implementing it know everyone's gonna hate it.
So it seems that Cryo is gonna be only that can dish out the pain. Though they haven't done anything with the Cryolator at all. I suppose I can look into other options.
You could always try the cryo crusader pistol, 😂 All you need is more active people fighting. 1 million HP divided by 15 players isn't a tough reach....
The health of earl for example was 93,000 when Milepost 0 dropped he got a 400% health buff. He went to 480,000hp now he has an extra 160%.... i wonder if this is the answer to the obviously unballanced Auto-Axe build.. lets just give everything more HP 😂
Potentially..But it's my understanding they got the HP buff because they removed or nerfed their resistances. The other world bosses tho between the buff there and nerf to perk cards is a kinda big change. For example tho it was probably op I was basically 2-3 shotting (cremator) the end boss of most wanted with crits. The first time after this update I dump like 6 shots before the thing smashes me like never before. Come back and it was prob another maybe dozen shots before it went down. I could have used less shots and waited for the burn but point is I think depending on the gun and perks people are using it's a rather large % increase.
Have you heard of anyone having a problem on Xbox where buttons didnt work? I updated my controller and reset the console, and it would resolve some buttons. Then playing for a little the buttons would finally start working.
I've been telling people that are excited about 4 stars that everything will just get buffed over time. 4 star weapons will end up being the same usefulness as 3 stars were.
