It's always exciting to get them going. But please remember that's it's even more important to get them STOPPING! If it's your choice to do a full period restoration - including the brake technology of 1954 - then just make sure your garage does it well. Otherwise, consider converting to disc brakes and what happened to me won't happen to you! Having said that...I'll be watching!
