Met Chris Pronger at Crossroads Liquor in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Bought a couple of signed bottles and really enjoyed it. It is a great Canadian Whiskey. I would say... if you're looking for a winner... GET THIS WHISKEY! Cheers guys!
The irony of him dissing Tiktoks that are summarizing books, while this conversation is being summarized for a RU-vid short. Also, Kindles are made specifically for reading books
This has been a very helpful and insightful podcast. It reminded me on what's important and how much my focus has drifted from where it should have been. Thanks.
My parents are from Dryden and grew up with Chris's parents so I'm biased 100% but he was one of the most dominant players during his career. I didn't cheer for any particular team, I cheered for his team period. Absolutely carried that Edmonton squad on his back
Excellent 🎯 Sir how to tackle self doubt in order to increase competence & confidence in testing times to rise above adversity at a faster pace.. any good books on this subject
Thanks for having me on Brett! It was an great discussion and I look forward to future conversations and the continued growth of your awesome podcast 💪
@BrettGilliland1 do you have educational videos on it and if so please share or tell me where I can find them. Just came across your channel recently and trying to finish a few others before opening a new can of worms. Thanks for what you do
@@ethanparlier6314 I don’t have any educational videos, unfortunately. I just read a lot of articles as they come my way and talk to people about it. You’ll see a constant theme throughout my podcast with thoughts around anxiety. Thanks for engaging with the channel and I hope to continue to add value to you.
I served with him in Iraq. He is a real good leader and a better person. At the time, he was only a Captain at Camp Victory ... we had many races around a lake there when doing physical training. One of the best I have ever been around. Good to see he's still doing well 👍 I would love an email address to him 😀
Btw my experience is is near death experiences I’ve had. The only thing you want when death is baring down on you is LOVE! You absolutely crave love. If you have love all of your problems go away. The problem is all the training I’ve been in I’ve never once heard anyone mention it. So now younger FFs I make it clear to make that a point. Make sure your family life is good. Make sure you have love and you will be invincible when the day comes. Not invincible in a wreckless way but as in fears will fall away. That burden that gets in your stomach. You just feel peace if you have love.
Oh hey look, another douchebag jumping on the "low effort motivation" trend, exactly what we need, more uncreative garbage pandering to lost teenagers. Definitely not a morally bankrupt grift at all, no sir.

This is exactly right. I had the same realization when the junior guy in a similar position as me said he wanted to go for our boss’s position. I suddenly realized how badly I wanted my boss’s job, because I knew I didn’t want that person giving me direction. Not because of pride, but out of regard for personal job satisfaction.
FOR GOD AND COUNTRY 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE MR. SATTERLY AND THANK YOU MR. GILLILAND I THROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS INTERVIEW!!! I PURCHASED HIS BOOK AND MAN TO HAVE HIM SIGN IT WOULD BE THE DREAM!!!!!
