People don't understand FMA. This is just not your typical martial art that can be used as a sport. " It is made for killing. You don't teach this to everyone, only to people who are disciplined enough to use it, like the military and to people in security agency. You can teach the basic but the advance is too dangerous for everyone to learn.
I REMEMBER THAT HAND FIGHTS WHEN I WAS A CHILD IN THE 70S AND 80'S WHEN TWO BOYS OR ADULTS HATED EACH OTHER THEN THEY ARE GOING TO HAND FIGHT SPORTS. AT THAT TIME IF THEY USE THE WORD SPORTS IT MEANS ONE ON ONE FIGHT WITHOUT WEAPONS. THAT'S THE RULES
The reason "Kali" was not widely practiced in the public in the Philippines was its lethality. schools teach arnis, yes. but teaching a Filipino the true and lethal discipline is not advisable unless it's a police or military personnel.

We all Filipino must learn this Marial Arts even we are old... Must continue the sharing of generation to generation of kthis Arts... I wish I have a chance to learn this...
