❓❓❓What am I missing?🤯 Pleeeeaaaasssseee heeeeelllllppppp! LOL! As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I just learned how to do this 3 days ago. My stitches look great on the front and back but I'm losing loops/stitches when I follow your directions as I understand them. Something went TERRIBLY WRONG.😭 I started with 20 loops casted onto my needle BUT I seem to lose 1 loop every time I finish a row. I'm doing as you showed and I think the k2tog is decreasing my stitch count. I want nice even edges and I need my stitch count to be consistently the same for each row. Your instructions are to knit 2 loops together at the end of each row and begin a new row by slip/transferring the 1st loop over without making it a stitch and then begin making stitches with the 2nd loop until 2 loops remain at the end of the row, then knit the 2 end loops together and keep repeating that process. I crochet so in my mind, every time 2 loops are knitted together, it is causing a decrease by 1 stitch which would account for my loops decreasing by 1 at every new row. I want to knit a square and I want the sides to look nice and even. Please, I'd REALLY APPRECIATE some help. ❓❓What am I missing?🤯 What am I doing wrong? Help from anyone would be MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks! 🙂
No worries, I'm here to help. For K2tog... Count the yarn over and the slipped stitch from the previous row. If you're still unsure, consider sharing a brief video in our Facebook group. This way, I can pinpoint any issues and provide guidance. Fellow group members are also available to lend a helping hand.
Wow, the edges look amazing!👍❤ I'm a crocheter BUT I learned to knit the garter stitch 3 days ago. I wish I'd seen this video before I started knitting my chunky rope potholder because I would've added 4 more cast-ons to accommodate the side stitches for the really nice edges. I'm not going to rip out what I've completed so far but I may set it aside and start another potholder using this method for the edges. Thank you so much!!!!👍😊❤
To shape the sleeves follow the same instructions in Part 1 @ 17:58 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LK5EGBsgRms.htmlsi=5GHx2w8-27USLlxe Decrease until you are left with 10 stitches. Place the 10 stitches on a stitch holder. Work on the other sleeve then join the Raglan Seems as demonstrated.
@@BernadetteDampies l gave instructions on how to knit the sleeves in part 2. See attached link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ypL62umRzEQ.htmlsi=AlBba4Yx9V9mfz5e
Yes, you can use DK yarn for your project, but please be aware that the throw will be smaller in size compared to using the recommended yarn weight. DK yarn is lighter and thinner than the yarn weight typically used for throws, so the final dimensions of your project will be smaller. Keep this in mind when planning your project and adjust the number of stitches or rows accordingly to achieve your desired size. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
I don't have a tutorial for the hoodie at the moment, but I can guide you through the process of making it. It's actually quite simple. To determine the size, you can use an old hoodie to help you get the right measurements. Crochet a rectangle using the Granny stitch, then fold it in half lengthwise and sew one side. The hoodie is detachable, and I use buttons to attach it to the coat. I hope this helps. Happy crocheting!
Thank you so much for the kind words. This is a Large 16UK, EU44. I used a 5mm hook and worsted yarn. For a bigger size use 5.5 or 6mm hook and for a smaller size use 4 or 4.5mm hook (This is the easiest way to increase or decrease the size of the finished product without measurements) To get the right measurements... measure your chest and hips and make a swatch first. . I hope that helps. Let me know if you need more help.
@@WeavedIn super, merci pour votre réponse rapide ;-) Mais je ne connais toujours pas le nombre de grammes pour une talle EU44 ni comment réaliser le chapeau (un carré de quelle mesure). Au plaisir de vous lire, Sara
Thank you! This isn't exactly the way the pattern I'm using is written, but gives me a better visual of where the marker is in relation to the increases. The pattern I'm using has a lift increase, K2, then the opposite lifted increase.
I cannot get on with these videos that have no speaking, finding them very hard to follow. Am I the only one? This one is slightly better, with written text, but i still cannot follow. I've been crocheting for 10yrs, so not new to it. But new to trying these Tuscan patterns.
What size circular needle please? Thank you for your tutorial, so easy to follow! If I wanted to make a baby blanket with this pattern what is the multiple of stitches?
You are welcome. I used 5mm needles and worsted yarn for the Scarf. For a baby blanket Cast on 132 stitches and use cord length 36 inches to 40 inches.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. I've now turned the sunflowers into a lovely runner. To see how I did it, check out the step-by-step tutorial at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DMLsBCDBP0I.html To make a granny square, my tip is to begin by crocheting the circle first. Then, crochet the granny square using the back loops of the circle. After finishing the square, switch to the front loops of the circle to crochet the Sunflower petals. I hope these instructions are clear and helpful to you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the tutorials. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to ask. I'm here to help!
