@@mobafan3713 Yes absolutely. There are a lot of ways to get an acoustic sound out of an electric, if you have the $$ around I would highly recommend Archetype Petrucci because of the acoustic amp
@@skullthunder3181 ive played this song hundreds of times prior to recording so the rhythm part only took 2 takes, the solo on the other hand took 27 takes if i remember correctly
@@skullthunder3181 completely valid, im the exact opposite. i rarely write original music, but i am teaching myself music theory so i can get into it more. came from being a drummer for the last 18 years, so music theory was never a necessity
@@jakeexo I know a small amount of theory but honestly past a certain point I find it to be diminishing returns. Writing songs on guitar is more about ideas and the techniques you use imo.
