I just pulled the trigger on a 6505+ 112 with upgraded v30 speaker. Can’t wait to get it and jam. I’m gonna get a 212 v30 cabinet for it. 60W is more than enough for just jammin. I’ve never played one but all my favorite bands use them.
unlikely you'll respond, but cheers for that. i just have one (probably silly) question. so your "line" kinda starts after the ns2 send, then feeds back through the unit with your time modulation after the pedal (makes sense, you don't want the unit screwing with delay/reverb, it'd be an awful mess). my stupid question is, does it go guitar -> tuner -> ns2, or guitar -> ns2 -> tuner? which also begs the question, where do i put a Fuzzface? that shit is supposed to go before even the tuner because it don't play well with ANY pedal and has to be, effectively, a part of the raw guitar signal.
I can’t find a damn video for this pedal to use send and return without an efx loop on my amp… I have a Sovtek Mig 100 and it’s an old school amp. What do I do just use the send for my dist pedals… I dunno.
Alot of complaints about that pickup in the way, it’s almost touching the strings some guys have had to shim the neck or put a block in the back to raise the bridge
Wait you put gfs China pickups in a Gibson? What? Son, a tuner works or it doesn’t. If a guitar doesn’t stay in tune, it’s the nut. Full stop. Learn first, then post ….. My god man. This is really bad.
@@SloppyJoes_ShredShack okay sir thanks for the information but how about this vs a korean mid range PRS SE Custom in terms of build quality control? I am planning to buy this guitar as my next axe and I'm just making sure that it would be an big upgrade for me and my current guitar right now is is a 2007 Ibanez RGR321EX
@@SloppyJoes_ShredShack thank you so much for the information sir it's nice to know such things my friend has mid range Korean PRS and I'm blown away by the over quality of it, I hope this RGRT621 could hang up against it atleast, I just ordered mine 2nd hand and it will be delivered next week
Good points made here. I found a mix of things led to the bad tuning. The headstock design and break angle (the headstock angles back) means the nut is fairly critical in tuning stability compared to like a tele or a prs where they all line up and theres no break angle. The trem block is tiny, and i came to the same conclusion of your friend and blocked it. Its a kickass little guitar and the neck feels AWESOME. one difference i found from yours in buying: i had to try 5 of them and i picked the best frets over color (i wanted ruby red, a white model had a smoother neck). The fret sprout on the others was horrible (like to the point i had scratches for days after on my fingers from rubbing my hand up and down the neck.
I have the Starcaster in the sunbirst finish. I love it! Some guys swap out the pickups, but the originals sound fine to me. I did add a Les Trem vibrato (NOT tremelo!!!) and that is highly recommended...
Less blathering. More playing. Its fair to say everyone here know what a jazzmaster is and what features it has. Quit yappin' and get tk the playing so we can draw our own conckusions. PS oh no, he played a bunch of metal blues rock and classic rock riffs. Jazzmasters are for indie, alt rock, and shoegaze. Smh.
Still trying to understand how it's "baseball bat thick" when reported at .820-.920... thinner than my 50's Vintera Mod or 60's Vintera Strat. My Ultra Strat -.820 -.890....
Love mine, killer axe! But my trusted seller (an amazing luthier also) made me choose about the out/in-phase and I picked up back in. More useful to me. Grat video!!!
Sss s true strat you need hot ,sss 50s or 60 s .hot pickups Your you can get away with more with humbuckers you know then just wire it with a spliter you get singlecoil
I replaced the bridge (fender American), the tuners to locking and the pick up (JB) and filed out the nut quite a bit and with lubrication all but the G keep in tune if you don't go to hard on the trem, the G i tune a little to low so that when you trem it gets a bit to high until you bent again on that string, but you hardly notice then the g is a tiny bit off, others on youtube had good results with a new black tusq nut. I also leveled all frets, so a nice low action is possible with no buzz at all....
i did the same things to mine (just havnt did the bridge yet i like the idea of a vintage style fender one cant really go wrong there) and ya i did locking tuners a jb and graphtech nut and WOW plays like a 1000$ guitar id imagine with a new bridge how much better it will add to the quality the block and whole system is cheap n light lol, and i clipped the "Treble Bleed" which makes the volume pot into a on/off switch..
@@kenweckhuysen9264 honestly this guitar is amazing when added with a few mods the locking tuners werent even crazy expensive ones just musiclily locking pros 46-60$ cad i believe, most expensive mod was the JB which was worth it but the stock pickup isnt that bad either (most important mods would be the nut, tuners that would go a long way, and bridge because ive noticed even with the claw screws back a bit the tremelo arm is very very stiff, did u notice that aswell?
