A choir born out of poverty and strife to become one of Wales most prestigious choral organisations. Inaugurated on May 24th 1924, we are now approaching almost a century of continuous music making, historically the oldest established choral organisation in the Rhondda Valley. Pendyrus Male Choir is in constant demand performing around 25 engagements annually. In addition, the Choir undertakes performances on television, at national and promotional events and provides corporate and after-dinner entertainment. This famous Welsh male voice choir can provide a complete show, including solo artistes. The Choir is also available to sing at weddings. Pendyrus, often referred to as the ‘Ambassadors of Welsh Music’, is one of the most travelled of the Welsh male voice choirs.
Oh the joy of being Welsh and have to sing. Paul felt the heart and soul of Wales. His voice was a tribute to to the miners who gave holiness to the planet deep in the sunless places of earth. It is still there.❤️

Had the extreme pleasure of attending a Pendyrus concert on Prince Edward Island several years ago. Fabulous ! Hope to visit Wales later this year and attend one of their rehearsals.
