This place has some of the worst quality control I've ever witnessed. Not a bad company just not what you would call good quality leaving the shop. I've had thousands and thousands of dollars go down the drain cause of national plastics. They are the dollar tree of plastic fabrication. Quick easy and somewhat quality if any at all.

As Mech Product Designer who is used to having everything from Elect - Plastics- Metal in one 3D parametric CAD modeler What I never understood is what exactly is the actual BIM software? Is it just a concept or a package where a certain file form is required which then in turns give real 3D parametric visualization ?OK BIM is specific for Civil Construction industry where traditionally people use diff 3D CAD + built in Metadata, An Architect may use Archicad, a Fabricator may use Tekla , a manufacturer of say doors and windows or capital equipment will use Mech 3D CAD like Solidworks/ Solideedge/ Pro E or Catia , an HVAC mfg might use some HVAC 3D modeller BUT at the end of the day the final representation is a somewhat simpler ( on graphics card and file size) but parametrically accurate 3D model of a built environment + relevant Metada.. correct? SO it is not that diff than advanced Mech 3D CAD packages ... And when you say It is bad idea of translating from 3D CAD to BIM? How .. If a manufacturer already has spent money on 3D model of his product he will simply convert to a format which suite BIM !

I don't hoard, I prep. Over the last 2 years I have built up a prepper pantry when the food items are on sale. Got 2.5 years of coffee, 200lbs of beef and a meat grinder, canned goods/cereal/pasta out the wazoo, oats, rice, Ramen noodles, dried beans, flour, etc. and so much more. Anyone who thinks prices are going to go down or things aren't going to get worse is living in a dream world. Where is the motivation if they can blame Russia? Have you seen the price of gas? That hasn't even hit your dinner table yet. Even if the war ended tomorrow, do you think those sanctions will drop overnight? Thankfully I work from home and never had a vehicle, so nice savings there. Next hit will be the fertilizer shortages this summer. Nope, not me, I am going to be eating at 2020/2021 sale prices.
