Hmm a book to recommend? I got a few for this AAPI month to choose from, because I’d like people to read one AAPI book!! Yellow face R.F. Kuang, pachinko by Min Jin Lee, Free Food for Millionaires, bone by Fae Mynne Ng, mixed plate by Jo Koy, a taste of love by Jennifer Yen, crazy rich asian by Kevin Kwan (yes the book related to the movie), parachutes by Kelly Yang, America is in the heart by Carlos Bulosan, how to American by Jimmy O. Yang, Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao, ASAP by Axie Oh (some are non fiction, some are fiction, some are memoirs, and others genres that relate to the experiences we Asians deal with)
I have watched this twice now! I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to respond! It’s an honor to see a video like this! Very happy you asked me for a rec!! Great video!!
Found it at my library so I tried reading the love wager and your analysis was spot on. Not the best romance I've ever read lol but it was fun. I look forward to finding some more new reads next time you upload!
The Coincidence of Coconut Cake is a super cute, quick read. One of my favorites. Cameron Dokey writes some fun ones as well. Looking forward to your next video! ❤
Love this and I just started working on creating my reading journal! My birthday is this weekend and I feel that is the start of my year😅. Your set is beautiful and I love that freedom of letting your creativity run as you go instead of doing a “theme”. It all still worked together amazingly!!
Happy birthday bestie!! ❤️ I cannot wait for you to start your journal! Just let your mind go in whatever direction because at the end of the day it’s yours and it’s supposed to be fun. ❤️ I hope you have an amazing weekend.
I am doing my first ever reading journal. Have watched a lot of videos trying to get inspiration. Bought some supplies from etsy, amazon, walmart, michael's and hobby lobby. I love how you have different themes for each spread. I will probably do that with my reading journal. Hope to have it done by February😅.
Discovery of witches was made into a tv show on HBO- from what I’ve seen of it it’s pretty good. I didn’t realize it was a book first! Excited to hear your thoughts! 🎆
Ooo a deadly education sounds so good! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it! The hype put me off tomorrow & tomorrow & tomorrow as well! I’ve had a darker shade of magic on my physical tbr literally for years and still have never read it😅 I’ll be intrigued to hear your thoughts! Loved this video I hope you enjoy all your new books ❤
