Can you please contact a union rep from Massachusetts or New Hampshire USA please and try to get this thing accepted as proper personal protective equipment so I don't have to shave my beard 🙏🧔♂️
Howdy. Yes, many beards can be contained in a PAPR facepiece. So it can be a solution. Good news: Loose-fitting facepieces on PAPR's are not required to be fit tested in our region (Australia).
i got one of these pants at a vinnies shop, and this helped a lot with some of the things i didn't understand. btw they are really comfy and have good durability. would recommend.
Interesting comments about virus particle exhalation on valved vs unvalved. I've seen videos of people exhaling vape smoke to visualise where the air actually exits on unvalved masks. In these videos it all just comes out around the edges of the mask. However if the Aura has a very good seal around the edges then perhaps it simply comes out through the front, in which case virus particles presumably would get trapped and stopped on the inside layer of the mask. Would be interesting to see a test of this with vape smoke (or dry ice smoke maybe?). Anyway I've just ordered the valved 9322A+ after seeing your other video recommending them (I'm using them for yard work - my leaf vac pisses dust everywhere).
Got one the other day for doing (quite a bit) of chainsaw work at home in NZ. Part of it can be difficult to assemble, but once done it is pretty good.
I have a long and thin face. I ultimately had to buy a versaflo TR-600. Half mask 7502M pressed my nose bridge red and painful when used more than +10mins. Full mask 6800 leaked always around ear's height. Those silicon masks only work if you have short and round face type.
What is the white piece that's replicable used for? I know that the cartridge it mounts on blocks fumes, does the white piece block particles? Like wood dust and metal etc? And can i use a fully used fume cartridge just to get the benefit of the cheap white particles filters?
Howdy. The white pad is a particle filter (yes, to block wood dust, metal particles from grinding, cutting and welding metal etc.). The particle filter should always be used for protection against particles and the gas/vapour filter for gases and vapours - clipped together and used together when both particles and gases/vapours are likely to be present.
They are definitely not made in Australia. They only do 1 type of boot made in Australia. The marketing is false and misleading. Made in china I'm afraid.
@@SafetyQuip i know it is, I do t know how they get away with that to be honest. Maybe because it's finished here and maybe packaged here? But I can assure you they are made in china .
Correct, uppers are completely made in China. Soles bonded to uppers in Australia. Label should say partially assembled in Australia. Redbacks are the only Australian made boot.
I paid $170 for Mongrel boots where the sole has deteriorated far too quickly in what I would call a manufacturing defect from using incorrect material or manufacturing method. Now I have found myself slipping on the roof multiple times. I can no longer wear these. Mongrel support don't really care. I have now bought other shoes that do the job. Terrible product for $170 - I recommend King Gee instead.
So I purchased the TR-300 for UV Resin 3D printing… however I found out there’s no OV Filters for this model… I can’t return the kit… is there anything I can do to turn it into a TR-600? Kits look the same it’s strange to me
Howdy, yes, the TR-300 is just for particulates. You would need the TR-600 for gases & vapour filters. No, there's not a way to change the TR-300 to accept gas & vapour filters. You could use the facepiece and hose though with a TR-600 blower.
