Malta is where the Apostle Paul Was shipwrecked . He was bit by a viper , the people thought he was cursed because he had gotten bit . When Paul did not get sick from being bitten the people of Malta thought he was a God . Paul healed the sick while he was shipwrecked on the island of Malta .
