@@RadBMXBuilds thanks Sean! I'm looking forward to your up coming builds. That blue GT looks sweet!! Can't wait to see the Diamond Back come together with the blue components. 👍
Chris Reilly is a buddy of mine here in Michigan. We work at the same company but out of different plants. Great to hear his name over the mic and to see him race out there. He’s a California transplant and has a ton of vintage bikes. He had a #9 number plate and was racing his 1976 Race Inc. F’n RAD!!! Thanks for the footage Danny!!
What time 0 were the mains over at what time of the do you have any idea how late they would be running today what do you think can you give me some info I want to go there
I didn't go back today. I got a little over heated yesterday, so I didn't head back. Check the frogtown BMX Facebook page. I think the schedule is in there. 👍
Looks like those who put on this event did one helluva awesome job, staging looks great, they brought a legit gate and with Roybal announcing it sure looks like an amazing time…huge kudos to all who made it happen…
G'day Danny. Tim Judge doing the one footed flatty and Mike Miranda doing that high x-up are 2 of the best photos ever taken. Of course I rode a Hutch, so no bias there. But still great shots.
Lol the last page ad ...VIS...ARGE ...taken from the 80,s uk new romantic band ...i presume regards the ad Danny ...you guys were probs into hair metal ih the 80,s lol 🤘🤪
I mail ordered from First Class in 86 or 87 when I was 13 or 14. Order a blue Free Agent, Forklifters, DK stem, Perigrine 48s, ect. Wrote it on paper added it up and sent cash via US mail. Got it in a few weeks. Looking back what honest people.
@@dannypena2673 can't remember if its Action or Plus but there's an issue with a section called garage company shootout where they test all the underground frames using the exact same parts. Love to see that one reviewed.
What a mag. thanks God I decided to open this Vid. THIS issue was the one inspired me to trick can cans, lookbacks and go back to race again, all thougheter cause Dirt and Race was only one thing these years. Amazing Stuff.. Thanks a LOT for sharing !
@@dannypena2673 a lot of bikes are available but the prices of what these bikes cost now scare people from buying. I have a hutch judge the frameset are going for $2500 plus and with all era correct parts the complete bike can cost $10k. I also have a kappa starsky frameset brand new from 04 and was offered $5500 for it I still have it lol but there was only 15 made. To some people money talks.
Hi Danny. No matter how much I try to like these modern bikes, I just can't. A mate of mine said "That's progress for you". Sure they look like speed machines. But I can't get over the low seat. As for being clipped in. These very short last straights. I've seen some epic last straight come from behinds. Not any more. As for actually pedaling. Seems it's a bit of an afterthought. It's more lift up the front wheel and roll through everything. I don't know. Are they having any actual fun out there anymore? Maybe it's just me. I'm way too old. Ha ha.
@@stevenelliott155 yeah it's strange to me as well .. it's a whole different thing. My bikes are still kinda old school. Lol!!! I'm afraid to clip in lol!! But I'm a huge BMX fan, so I just try to accept it.
This is just a few towns from me...I live in Dublin and still ride my 86 redline everywhere. Hopefully they will do it again this year and I’ll be out there with my family. Enjoying your content! Thanks!
