I’m this far in so I’m gonna finish it. But if you could make less mouth noises when you narrate, it would save my sanity from my misophonia. I’m sorry, but it’s murder on me.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this project! This is amazingly well done! One small thing though: the editing needs some work. Which is a shame because the narrators are SO GOOD
I’m frankly baffled that, with the sheer number of people collaborating on this project, no one bothered to listen to the final edit all the way through and make sure there weren’t any mistakes with how it was cut before releasing it. There are *so many* bad cuts that leave a mistake in and then just repeat the sentence. Why did no one proof this before it was published.
I firmly disagree with anyone saying this narrator isn’t good, and complaining about the lack of a British accent. At least this narrator actually tries to follow tone tags and directions (“her voice wavered” “he grit out” “she said sharply” etc). The number of times someone else was doing a chapter and they’d say some dialogue followed by an adverb the narrator fully ignored was driving me a lil nuts.
You clearly don’t really get it. These characters have severe trauma that is important to be discussed and fleshed out. 12 ch ago was flashbacks which are vital to the story.
am i the only one having a hard time with the narrator not having a British accent? Makes it harder to see them as the actual characters. And there seem to be a lot of VERY repetitive story flashbacks. It made getting to the point a lot longer.
Fanfic is better than the JK books(but the books are great in letting us get to know characters and their shared history). This one and All The Young Dudes are awesome. All the Young Dudes read in a British accent is the best. Fleurs uploads I think it’s under.
One thing I’ve learned so far from this book is no mater how much of an asshole you are Or how many people you’ve killed. If you’re rich. You get the girl 😂. Ps don’t let my comment fool y’all. I’m really into this book. The story has been dark and interesting. I haven’t been able to stop listening to it.
