Richard RIP. I loved you. He brought such joy to the world. I am very introverted. I do not hate people but they drain me. At some times I have to be left alone.

After Richard died, it broke my heart when his brother said that none of Richard's celebrity "friends"-including those schmucks at TMZ- and associates visited him. His brother said that Richard's only companions were his paid house staff. 😢😢

I remember when he started back in the day, I thought it was kinda hoaky but I think he had a positive influence on overweight people or anyone really, to get and move, exercise, like Jack Lalane did when I was a kid.

This show could have been about 15 minutes long. How many times can they repeat that he's depressed was bullied likes to be alone has health problems. I think repeating all this stuff did not give him Justice. Just made him see more pitiful.

It sounds like he was an empath. It makes you extremely compassionate and in tune to the feelings of others. While that makes people appreciate you, It's actually an extremely heavy weight to carry. An average empath can get their time alone to recharge. Richard couldn't.

Kind of weird. Met Richard twice when I was 14 and I'm 57 years old now. I attended his shows in person, made gifts for him and he even held them up on tv to show the audience. I created the first prototype game for "the Richard Simmons show". Seems like that was all just yesterday (and he was so larger than life, I thought he'd live forever). Let's not forget about buying all his books, and his Reach album, getting his autograph and visiting his home in New Orleans (the French Quarters). Rest in peace. Barbara Dunlevy

I've heard that about Richard & young Child Drama if it's not ckd & maybe some therapy might've helped him & a Good,Trusted close friend to support him. I can't imagine Richard helping, feeling ppls Pain's can't be easy. If he had the tool's to deal with the pressure. Who could Work 24/7. Maybe he couldn't stop trying to help other's,addiction to helping ppl. He couldn't get more dog's & it Dose Hurt when they pass & if he was depressed that won't help. Heck my shrink was upset when her pet passed away & she was upset. Some ppl teach exercise thing's sitting down & think he could uplift other's. I get him closing down & walk away without needing to say goodbye, that can be to much. Oh Dr.Phil smh... ✌ & RIP Richard.

OH, NEW ORLEANS HAS THE BEST FOOD TOO. I WAS FAT TOO IN SCHOOL AND THOSE KIDS... THEY WERE MEAN AS MEAN COULD BE! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY EITHER. SO MEAN. SCHOOL WAS THE WORST EVER... WELL ALMOST. THINGS GOT BETTER AS TIME WENT ON, THANKFULLY. HOWEVER, WITH WEIGHT LOSS CAME A WHOLE OTHER MEANNESS. I SAW A VIDEO OF RICHARD SIMMONS HAVING SOME PROBLEM WALKING IN THE AIRPORT A LITTLE MORE RECENTLY. IT MUST HAVE HAD ISSUES RELATED TO HIS FOOT AND KNEE PROBLEM THAT WAS ADDRESSED IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS VIDEO. HE WAS SO, SO, SOOOOOO KIND TO EVERYONE AND I SCREAMED AND CRIED WHEN I HEARD THE NEWS OF HIS PASSING AWAY. 😢💔💔💔😥😥. SUCH SADDNESS. HE WAS WONDERFUL AND SO SWEET. ❤
