Nice camera mount, now we know electrical tape is at least rated for 180 pounds of thrust ;) I'm giving my RunCam2 one last shot this weekend and I think its time to upgrade to the 6. Mines been disconnecting sporadically and I think it's finally earned retirement.
Thanks! Actually it’s black duct tape rather than electrical tape - also I used a Velcro mount onto the airframe, then strapped the duct tape on top for more stability.
Very nice flight. You should come to the Rochester-Syracuse area. 3 clubs relatively close to each other. Syracuse Rocket Club, URRG, and MARS. Bring this rocket with you.
I saw your flight at LDRS. At one point there was a large crowd cheering off to my right. Glad to hear that you made L3. It sure looked like you did from the flight.
Wow , awesome video! Were you able to save the airframe for the one you found two days later? I live in PA, and fly with URRG though in NY. I just looked up your club its about a 7 hour drive from me in Lewisburg, PA. Anyways awesome video, I'm looking for some clubs around the northeast I can go to or fly at once in a while that are a little further out. I love this hobby its great to see others experiences, thanks again and have a good one!
@@nnrocketeernnThat definitely helps, I wasnt sure what material the airframe was. I will watch your videos and check them out, I just got back into this after a 10 year break but starting my L2 build shortly. I'm relearning a few things, definitely appreciate the offer. I'm still looking at some clubs(with SPAAR in Pa, and URRG like said in NY), maybe a 2-3 week long vacation to drive and hit some launches around Pa would be awesome next summer. If I ever make it up, I'm sure I will have fun! I'll probably run into a few people at LDRS next year too. Anyways, fun 2morrow!
