Hi, my name is Jenny. I live in the south of the USA with my husband, cats, dog and chickens. I started this channel to make friends to talk about books with. If you are interested in horror, romance (dark primarily) and fantasy I hope you enjoy watching my videos!
I won't lie, I love the VHS Tape one, it looks super cool! The Block Island one too was done INCREDIBLY well, I love the edge and the inside, they didn't slack on any of that <3 I promise I will read Light's Out lol!!! I think Ill start it in October, I think Ill buy the physical book too <3 What is it about fantasy romance that you don't typically like?
WOOHOOO PAINTING!!!! LET'S GOOOOOOO! I like the mini square canvas to make your own series!!!! If you need a place to display them besides if you get those mini painting easels, is you can put a magnet on the back and they can become fridge magnets <3
We have so many similar books picked out! I hope you find some new favorites! Thank you for participating 💕 Wait i had no idea the terror was a cryptic book 👀 I'm intrigued. I also love that you used "a" as a quantifying word!! Great use of that 🙌🏻
@WickedScorpio thank you for making it! I always want to do the reddit fantasy one but I'm very much so NOT A fantasy person. For the terror, ya, I was looking up cryptid books because I know a lot of them (creature features are my favorite kind of horror) and I saw that and was sold
Did you get all your new books to fit on your bookshelf from the convention? Also I just mentioned to Steph how this is PERFECT for you guys <3! You guys should do one for your bookclub sometimes. Maybe like a love & horror winter bingo with romance and horror <3
@JRG2187 I've heard it's not great, maggie and I were fine for the 1 night we stayed there but a lot of people said their room was small and I know a few had some books go missing presumably from housekeeping though I don't know for sure
Please check triggers before reading, and a lot of these I can’t really explain why they work without spoilers: For why choose I think Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison would work. For age gap I think you could use Doll House by John Hunt. For shifters I think you could stretch the Whiteout series by Flint Maxwell. I’ll drop more ideas as I think of them for thriller/horror recs. Loved this idea of stretching prompts to non-romance books! Thank you! And go team Stage Hand!
The best places to look for a why choose/thriller/horror combo books would be Apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic, or dystopian subgenres in science fiction.
It's the "oh dear" for me 😂😂😂 The reverse dust jacket for her buried lives is a totally different vibe but I love it! I hope it's as interesting as it sounds. I can't wait to see all the S&S content!!!
Me either! I'm so excited to read the next one! Claw is probably what you were expecting claw heart mountain to be. It was GREAT. Like, there's 2 more books and I'm like.... now please?
