It's OK to laugh about that statement in hindsight. When Wade won this in 2007, it definitely wasn't a silly statement to make. He looked like he had the game to win it all, and could say he maybe should have won the worlds in 2008 only for Part. The semi final he lost against Lewis though, that was his biggest chance to do it. Wade will always be a little more of "what if" type player, which is mad considering what he's won.
