This channel is about the memories many of us have accumulated from living in the ol' Bluff City watching local TV over the years. It's also about those underground videos (mostly musical) that you never get to see unless you know somebody in the band.
But, most of all, this channel is all about YOU finding something interesting to watch that might show you something new, or even bring back a memory or two. I hope you enjoy your visit!
I sang this song to my husband as he was dying in the hospital for I layer right beside him. This is the most beautiful love song of ever. Makes me cry
I went to the Hollywood premiere of Mad Dogs & Englishmen in 71 with about 10 of my friends. It was a life changing event for me. I am now 70 years old and still listening to my old friends, Joe and Leon.
Hi A.J. You rocked that lead! Years went into that! I saw your video of the same song with tge band. I like this version better, probably because the piano is clearer and louder. Fezzy in Maine ❤
Check out the utterly beautiful chord progression in this tune. No overdubs, no Other instruments. Just hear the chords and the melody. Wow. Its music. (Thanks Bill Stewart for the chart and cover) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n0YsvLhBiR8.html
As a native Tulsan, what I'll share is this, if you pay attention to what is going on in the background in the studio is what it was like at his home her, all had a wonderful time should they be among us privlagedy to visit and be around the environment/atmosphere the man was so willing to share. Yes it was a different place an time.
Thank you for sharing this Terry! I loved seeing Artie Wilson in this video. Even though it brought a couple of tears to my eyes, they were still tears of happiness from seeing a friend.
72 years young. 1970, '71, '72 were the best to be able to see so many groups and performers. I had the opportunity to see Leon, Joe Cocker, Allman Brothers Band (original) Leon and Shelter People and Johnny Winter And on same night at South Carolina University,, Delany and Bonnie and friends with Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath, Hendrix at Atlanta Pop Festival, Lynard Skynard at Ocean Drive Beach, Rod Stewart and Faces at Ashville NC,.Yes I am so greatful able to hold onto these memories with all the drugs, Booze and other things
Where did the time go.. I've wasted so much time lamenting and chasing after things that don't matter. Life is slipping through my fingers... Leon was raised up by a most wonderful friend he didn't know he had. I wish that could happen for everyone. Leon said it to Elton. Bless you. I wish it was 1965; a much more loving time.
Seen him live at the Oklahoma City all day and nite concert when it was about 95 degrees out. Foghat was there too and I can’t remember who all else. But I went only to see LEON. 1991 I believe. Leon one of the best.
