@@Lizzie_MTB wow. I had no idea it had that kind of length to it. I live a 20 min drive away and looked it up a few years back and all I could find was some comment on trail Forks that said it was just a little 2km loop so I didn't think it was worth my time. But if the rock trail is 5km and there is still more that is worth a visit. Thanks for the vid 👍
There are many more trails. The rock gardens are are good start. There is the magic carpet jump line with multiple choices and then there is the seven bridges trail. There are other loops and many jumps and drops. Some are janky and technical. Well worth exploring. You can easily do over 20 km of riding.
Great to see the riding in The Burgh is still hot. I've been living in the Rocky mountains of Canada for a number of years but I'm looking forward to heading back home to the Illawarra soon too.
😂 my seat keeps hitting my ass! Sorry 🤪 Is this close to your home? Looks fun! Jeremiah says “Nope it’s not like ice skating….biking your feet go up and down, skating your feet go back and forth 😂😂 😂
Fantastic trail Lizzie. Just proves, that mtb isn’t all about going full send and gnarly to have fun. Such a sick side of Maydena I’ve not seen or heard about. On my bucket list for sure. Just subbed ya too 👊🏼
I have only discovered you channel recently and really enjoy the content. My daughter has rediscovered the joys of cycling and keen to try mountain biking with me. I’ve watched several episodes with her and you’ve given her the confidence to get out on the trails at a pace that suits her. Always looking forward to your next video. Thank you 👍
I need to make a trip back to Australia. My mom’s a queenslander so I have dual citizenship. Been in the states for to long. Might night ever come back. Great videos. Got a new subscriber. Hope you get to 1000 subs soon. Cheers
This park looks like fun - thanks for sharing! The only time I've ridden MTB in Australia was at Plenty Gorge, north of Melbourne. Looking to do more gravity riding next trip!
Plenty Gorge is where I first rode a real mountain bike! But yes, definitely check out Maydena next time you’re here, Tassie in general is an incredible MTB destination.
For new mtbr's I'm a firm believer in if you didn't ride up your not ready to ride down. Since the shuttle started the number of riders I see on this loop that are completely out of their depth is crazy.
