Managed to get Stoner yesterday from a charity shop for 70p which is highly recommended. It goes on the list of future reads. Best wishes with your reading choices.
Being able to read Netgalley books on the kindle was such a game changer for me too! I used to read them on my phone on the way in to work and now that I have a kindle I don't know how I used to do that
I read One's company a couple of years ago now and loved it! It was so strange I don't think I've ever read anything like it before! I just added Bright Young Women to my tbr it seems like a good take on a true crime novel
Yay! Even though BYW is a popular book I'd love for more people to read it. I actually just watched your favourite books of 2023 and we seem to have a similar reading taste, so maybe you'll like it too :)
This is such a cozy and chill video. I can't wait to watch more of your videos! Also, i'm surprised that you friend hated My Brilliant Friend. My sister loved it and apparently there's so many twists and turns, the ending is very shocking too, so i can't wait to read it!
YAAAY SEEING THE FRIEND MADE YOUR LIST TOO!! but also i agree, fav videos are the best. i love hearing everyone’s picks & now ive added so many to my tbr after watching your list! i can’t believe i still haven’t started my brilliant friend. hopefully in 2024 🤞
ah chelsea!! was so excited to see your vid pop up on my feed!! how fun that you’re going to japan & australia in a couple of months. it was lovely to see what you’re reading & what you got up to during xmas!
First of all, good for your for starting this channel. Courage is always a good thing. Can you separate the videos somehow so that the titles show up on the bottom? I'm asking b/c for example, I may just be interested in one review; not all of them (I was looking for Paul, the bookstore made a mistake and I've been waiting for it for 3 weeks now instead of the usual 7 days). Also, if something is not revealed in the beginning of the book (beak- up???) please, no spoilers. The writer obviously kept it a surprise for a reason. Thanks for reviewing. Much appreciated! Please review Sweetbitter by S. Danler and Is Mother Dead? The Booker Prize finalist. Also, did you ever do a review once you finished Paul? I couldn't find the rest of your review. Thank you!
Some heavy themes in your Feb reads!! One's Company sounds great, what a fun concept I'm going to check it out! I really loved Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo and Bad Cree by Jessica Johns recently, I recommend both!!
I reeeally hope you like it! One of my friends recently read it and found it to be very boring but I feel like you also enjoy no plot just vibes books? Either way, the writing to me is chefs kiss
yaay for a good reading month! and for one’s company i am soooo intrigued by!! i’ve only heard you and monika at dog eared musings talk about it and it sounds so interesting!
Haven’t read the Idiot yet, but this vlog made me add it to my TBR. Also echoing Kat-I wish I had your barista skills, that first drink with the foam looked immaculate!
i'm a bit apprehensive to recommend the idiot after one of my friends found it really boring haha but it's probably my favourite book, if you can enjoy a book without much plot, you should try it! omg thanks, i actually proud of that coffee haha
i really agree with you that specificity helps with reliability! I love it when a story is full of those kind of unique details. loved ur thoughts on either or
Omg I didn’t know naoise dolan had a new book coming out, will have to break my book buying ban for that one😅 exciting times is one of my top 5 of all time❤
@@litwithkat you have to check it out!! it's a bit like sitting in on one of her therapy sessions? it's called eating alone in my car! also so many people in the past few days have told me to read writers & lovers, i'm excited!
Hey, I love your videos. I'm a graphic Designer and i wanna gift you some eye-catching thambnails that you can use in your video... Send me some pictures what you wanna use...💔🫠
The fan fiction confession - relatable!! Whenever I read romance I’m comparing it to good fanfic 🤧 I loved the rapid fire updates and excited for the New York vlog!
