Could you help me please. I have that model mower in the video, every now and then one flail unit will stick solid , I have to manually release it with a kick or a bar. Any ideas. Thanks.
Is the oil flow adjusted properly? If it is set up for cylinders the oil flow will not be sufficient to run the flails. I suggest that you adjust the flow valve to near max then turn it back one turn.

What is the part number for the stiff bristle (static) brush attachment for the front roller? Where would I be able to find the front roller attachment for this?
Amateurs, most kids remember dad teaching them how to sharpen a knife. Always push the edge forward so as not to leave burrs that will only roll back and leave a dull edge. Don't believe me, try it, it will feel like a saw and not a knife. So, why not file those burrs off the leading edge of your reel? After grinding and after lapping! I get 4 to 5 months between grinds, approximately 1200 to 1500 greens cut with a triplex. Even then it is still cutting paper with little contact.
You lot need to look at the design of your hm 600 it’s the worst machine I’ve ever used broken steering faulty brakes computer consoles faulty and faults with hydraulic.

I’ve used Ransomes mowers for 30+ years, everything, cylinders, flails and rotary, also gang mowers set of 7 and 5, best by far parkway and 9016 or 6010 batwing, bloody brilliant. Most authorities getting away from cylinders now down here in my neck of the woods. Enjoy that new mower you lucky bugger!
Amazing film footage of Ransomes history. 'Speed the Plough' as an expression in English has such resonance. In pre-industrial times most people in England were tied to the land as farm labourers.
