For the letters that make more than one sound, we can use little extras like dots, dashes and other things at the top or bottom of them at least when first teaching children to reduce on confusion Like "c" for the S sound and "ç" for the K sound. "G,g" for the J sound and "g with a dash on top" for the guh sound. I personally would prefer more letters to be added to a new proposed alphabet. But that's for a long term future for better writing. I can see the appeal of removing a few letters coz I'm an adult and i would NOT want to learn extra
heres my alphabet the Phonetic English Alphabet a ae ah ai aa ar e ea ei eh ee er i ir ih ii o oo ou oh or oi u uh uu b ch d dh f ph v g gh gz h j k kw l m n ng ny p r s sh ss ts t th w ks y z zh
My opinion A - stay B - stay C - stay (only must make the K sound so no more C sounding like S) D - stay E - stay F - stay G - stay (no more soft G. Any word with a soft G should be with a J) H - stay I - stay J - stay K - remove (C can do it's job) L - stay M - stay N - stay O - stay P - stay Q - remove (C can do it's job) R - stay S - stay (although S sounding like Z need to be reduce down to give Z a little more frequent) T - stay U - stay V - stay W - stay X - stay (but only to do the sh sound. No more of the ks sound which is covered by other letters) Y - stay (only to act like a consonant so no more Y sounding like a vowel) Z - stay
Why are you getting rid of J and S? K and Q and W and Y i understand, but J and S are useless. Sat vs Cat don't sound the same. It would be better if we just limit C to the [k] sound always just like in Old English and Latin. So king > cing. Qu > Cw, Queen > Cween. Soft C/SOft G > S, J City > Sitee, Giraffe > Jiraf
Jesus Speakses also claims that if Easter falls on April 1st, Jesus goes back to being dead and Christianity ends. Any evidence to support / refute this?
By the end, you both look and sound like a pro wrestler who got distracted while shooting a promo video and forgot what he was supposed to be talking about. (Tone: complimentary.)
This is how words would be spelt if we all used your alphabet Spell > cpell Store > Ctore Just > Guct Small > Cmall Fast > Fact Dose > doce Taste > Tacte Post > Poct Start > Ctart Stink > Ctink Spice > Cpice Spicy > Cpicē Stick > ctick Spot > cpot Stop > ctop Shot > xot Shut > xut Shred > xred Sky > Cci School > Ccool (I prefer Ckool then Ccool) Shall > xall Skill > Çcill Skip > Çcip Skit > Çcit Suit > Cuit Some > come Case > cace Still > ctill Still > ctill House > houce Horse > horce Sting > cting Play > plai Rye > rie My > mi Any > ani

@@flippy2 I guess. I wanted to reduce the barrier to adoption as much as possible by making it compatible with cursive writing, keeping the characters simple and preserving as many of the existing letter-to-sound associations as possible. It is visually less attractive than current writing but it's very easy to learn for kids and it saves time by shortening a lot of words.
@@Nuvamatai know im late, but you know the word TREASURE the s makes the ZH sound in that word we could bring J back for the ZH if you saw this and agreed TREASURE = TREAJURE
ok so lets imagine if this alphabet allowed other symbols, like Ʒ, the EZH(EƷ) Ʒ shoudl make the ZH sound in treaSure, so yes, J is eliminated for the sound being a combination, like W and Y,Q should go too. its useless ABCDEFGHIKLMNOPRSTUVƷZ is what we got so far C shoudl make the CH noise to, DƷUST like nuva said, C can make K and S but thta makes alot of flaws, so we need to have a retake on the C-K-S-Z flaw lets get the easy thing out the way, remove S' Z soudn is laser and give it to Z laser=LAZER, now C is the CH noise, so its useful, and K makes the Kuh and S makes Suh, and theres no flaws in this i hope.
